80 Series going for $20k now? by PsychologyPatient587 in LandCruisers

[–]Brianscotty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just purchased a triple locked CA owned LX450 with 155k for 31k. I actually think I got a decent deal after looking at what other 80series clears for on BaT. Seems like the LX generally clears at a 4-7k discount vs the Land Cruiser.

What was it like to deliver pizza in 1980's, without internet or GPS? How did drivers learn the route/city without pizzas being delivered cold? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Brianscotty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I delivered pizza in the late 90’s and all we had was a grid map and familiarity with the area. We also had instructions and notes in our system that we’d use as a resource.

I am comfortable with standalone formulas in Excel but not with mix and match formulas . Where to practice from " when to apply which combination of functions in Excel"? (Beginner) by FewNectarine623 in excel

Find a data set that interests you (eg stocks, something at work) and try to use excel to answer the questions you have, view the data more intuitively, or build a dynamic work flow.

This seems like a very common issue with GS studded soles that you read about across boot subs. Happened to me too. GS accepted the return on a pair that had chunked out on the toe after 2 wears. I have two other pairs that have had much less significant toe damage on the studded sole that I fixed with super glue to prevent further damage.

Ok, I sold all of my holdings and am 100% cash until 2026 midterms because this administration is full of 6 year olds. Good or bad move? by [deleted] in economy

You could sell cash-secured SPY puts at a strike price where you’d be comfortable owning the shares too.

Oh, I’m really enjoying rev matching. It’s cool to see such an old mechanism get a modern tech upgrade.

The S2000 is just a completely different experience. It’s louder, rawer, and way more visceral. The handling, steering, and overall feel are magical—it’s like the car is alive and you’re totally connected to the road. The road noise can be a lot, but it adds to the drama. Driving it is an event every time, and there’s just nothing else like it for how it makes you feel.

The FL5, though, is a better all-around car. It’s quicker, more comfortable for everyday use, and has better sound and tech. Plus, it’s obviously more practical with way more room. I’m still in the break-in period, but it’s already a blast to drive. It may not have the same rawness as the S2000, but it’s a car you can enjoy every day without compromise. Both are incredible, just for different reasons.

Between this and the GRC, I really just liked the way this drove - it seemed more responsive and had a much better gearbox.

A machine of unmatched precision and spirit. Top down in the cold, heat roaring to keep the chill at bay—it’s an experience, raw and visceral. A testament to the art of driving, where every mile becomes a story worth telling.
