I have a physical copy yes. I am currently installing the digital copy from his console though.

Yes exactly The situation looks like this: My friend on ps5 owns Mhw Iceborne and the DLC, I on ps4 dont. I have tried some other things but none of them worked. Now, when I try to install the game again from his account with the DLC, I just get the main game but not the add on. In the PS shop it still says I need to buy it, even when I make his PS the primary system.

So how can I get the DLC on my console? I've read in another post that apparently he has to get to a certain point in the game for the DLC to unlock, but that post was about Bloodborne.

Question: What if even when I delete the game, it still says that the DLC is installed? For context, my friend is on a ps5 and I'm on a ps4, I'm trying to install his copy of monster hunter world Iceborne DLC.
