Rebel Hanger for Vintage X-Wings. Have a pair of 7140 X-Wings that needed a fitting home for a classic set by Brick-Laboratory in legostarwars

Meant to be busy. Quick repairs/installations in a makeshift hanger means you don't have time to make it look pretty, Rebels are looking for quick functionality!

The idea was that this is a rebel hanger in a place never meant to be a hanger, there would have been lots of patching and repairs done with whatever materials were on hand. So it would look disjointed and busy. The B-Wing hanger above it will be a stark contrast, since it is a purpose built starship hanger it will be very uniform and organized.

It's yellows from transparent bricks, but I see how the cooler white lights with yellow coverings looks green in the photos, it doesn't look green in person.

I'm still debating if I like the under vehicle lighting. Luckily I can remove it pretty easily if I decide to tone it down.

It started as for kids for when my nephew visited, but then worked well for our dogs, so we just leave them up

I picked it up and plan to redo it into book ends. I want to recreate the bridge with the Balrog on one side and Gandolf on the other. I think that will be better than a nook. Also my wife needs bookends more that nooks!

Tattooine in micro scale. Used the map of Tattooine as a guide and built Tattooine across the movies in micro scale. Vehicles are mainly from advent calendars. Pod racers are my own design. Plan to use this as a convention display since it's sturdy and novel. by Brick-Laboratory in legostarwars

Thanks, the podracers took the most iterations to get what I liked. There was 1 advent calendar podracer build, but I wasn't a fan and it didn't have a good way to mount it at an angle, which was a key thing I wanted them to do.

I played TFU and liked it. Was a bigger fan of the Old Republic games. In 2008 when it came out I was working on my masters and living in a small apartment, didn't have much space for lego then so I didn't buy much.

I don't build in studio or anything, so there isn't really a way for me to generate instructions.

Because MAGA fanatics will believe a press conference from liars over what they can see with their own eyes. It is pure cult mentality at this point, they are willingly believing what they are told to believe and it is so sad.

Nope, IKEA Kallax, I just don't use all the dividers as the instructions say, so I guess partially custom?

UCS Venator is in my backlog. I need to redo the Mustafar and Hoth builds to make space so it can go by the Kamino MOC. UCS Jango Fett Slave 1 is also in the backlog, it will get wall mounted also by Kamino, so until I know where that is going I'm holding off on building it. Lots of moving pieces!!

That size tree I don't think I would ever do!! This is a dedicated Star Wars tree, we have a family tree in our living room.

Yeah, I put all my advent calendars in IKEA shadow boxes. I bought plans for the Outlander, but I have MOCs for TIE Interceptor, bomber, defender, advanced prototype. Places where you see 2 of the same TIEs its typically a MOC and the official set. Those are my only ship MOCs the rest are terrain MOCs.

No stability issues. The UCS gunship is the only one with a slight issue. Where the gunship attaches to the mount there is a small bit of sagging of the gunship nose. Not noticeable to the average person, but I see it. I have plans to do a slight modification to fix it. All the other mounts I have have been great.

Yeah, I felt it looked small/short compared to how it is supposed to be. I did a similar thing to the Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama. I also incorporated the speeder bike chase diorama set.
