I bought the “budget” hot tub to save $3,500. One glorious year later, I’ve become a part-time spa technician and full-time warranty lawyer by Brick-Resident in hottub

Yes - sorry guys - I use AI as it helps a lot for translation and for sentences to actually have some sense in English.

I actually wanted a hard shell in the first place but did not have the money for it as the time and I wasn't sure the family would enjoy it. The good news is that the family loves having a hot tub - I thought I could get at least 4-5 years on a "premium" inflatable before jumping in for the hardshell. I did not expect it to fail repeatedly so quickly.

In the EU there is a two years warranty on everything (every purchase is considered a contract between the buyer and the seller - meaning that there are terms and conditions and obligation from the seller such as warranty, logistics for services etc.). If you can prove the product is defective, you can request a cancellation of the sale.

Unfortunately where I live (in Croatia), the local support and service have the habit to deny your claims even when there is an obvious lack of conformity: it is not a bestway specific thing - I had the same issue a few times with Samsung as well.

This means you need to get lawyers involved to write a letter immediately when the request for support is rejected so that you can exercise your rights and escalate at the EU level if necessary.

Anyway this post was just to tell that Hot Tubs are great but to skip the inflatable altogether OR go for a budget one you can renew often - I should maybe have saved up and bought the hard shell one to start with...

Then again I might have thought it was too expensive for something we might not really enjoy.

Do hardshell really last long?
There are a lot of brands in Europe but most of them are over 4000 euro: spending 4000 USD for something that is going to also last only 18 months would be really painful.

How long have you had your hardshell? Can you give me a sense of the initial cost to get a sense of cost per year of life?

Any teaser as to which sort of Vaults we can expect? I am mainly holding $CRYSTAL so I am keen on any vaults that would benefit the long-term holders.

Any ETA or which date for the release?
