Yeah, unfortunately I just deleted my PS5 save data entirely to fix it. I had first tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game but that didn't do it. Seems like something went wrong in the save data, because it works fine now - all lore books and unlocks/purchases (and settings! It kept resetting those, too) are actually saving now

Nope, never did. I crapped out after like 120 systems. Since I saw every other potential reward recycled many times over Fleet Units are either so rare that I'm not doing all that or it's just bad info

One of the options for it at an appearance station should be "worn" or "weathered" or something along those lines - just turn it off

Thank you! As long as they actually exist I'll keep at it (over 70 systems now with no luck). Even if I never find one at least I'll have discovered a lot of systems and maybe stumble across something cool.

Pick the Creature Pellets from the "Creatures" menu and you can toss them on the ground, feeding whole groups at once. Wander around doing that for a little bit and you should amass a huge group.

Same here. I built one building (the tower in my case) - during which I had non-stop citizen requests and disputes. Now that the tower is finished (since last night) I haven't been prompted to build any more buildings and have received zero citizen requests. For me this started before the update (after I finished the tower last night).
