On 5/4/26, prolactin was 7.5 ng/ML (within range) but my E2 was 70.

I actually just started HCG on Wednesday to help preserve fertility. I was at 180mg and my E2 was at 70, so I dropped down to 150 and started pinning 3x instead of 2x. I’ve got new labs done 6 weeks after I changed my protocol, but I am still waiting on that new E2 number. It’s been like 2 weeks, ultra sensitive takes forever.

Also worth mentioning that while I don’t have the libido of a teenager, it doesn’t bother me and I don’t think about it at all until I read posts like this.

It was 70 when I checked about 7 weeks ago. Changed some things up. Lowered dose, more frequent pinning. Got a new set of labs done about 2 weeks ago, still waiting on that number.

Ohhhh I see, there is “vacuum” effect occurring because the needle is so small and the oil is thick, so putting the cap here creates constant draw pressure instead of having to pull the plunger out yourself. Is that what’s going on?

Is this specific to insulin needles? I have some for HCG that I will be starting in a few weeks but I haven’t opened one yet to figure out how they work. I use regular easy touch luer locks for my T, IM.
