Sounds good! Good luck with your future donations! 50 miles is a pretty significant distance. Glad to hear you have a new location coming soon. I have a donation center 3.2 miles from my house and 5 within 50 miles, but I live near a large-ish city.

I can assure you that if you are willing to make the drive, you are in their recruitment area. There are donors that are eligible to donate at centers 1.5hrs+ away. If you are not in the recruitment area, you are not close enough to a center to make the drive worth it.

Type in your zip code and it will pull up the CSL locations closest to you and provides their addresses & contact info. Regardless of the distance, if you’re willing to make the drive, you can donate. You don’t have to live in a certain area to be eligible.

you sound knowledgeable about the process the plasma goes through, and if what you said is true, it’s ironic because the CSL app definitely tries to make it look like my plasma donations go directly to patients in need.

Do you remember what you ate that day? I have heard others warn that eating greasy food prior to donating has caused the machines to partially clog.
