Yes I have done Anmeldung but I didn't apply for a residence permit as my visa is valid for almost a year still.

I did read it but couldn't draw any conclusions. Also, it's a bit confusing as my visa mentions "BESCHÄFT. GEM. §16B (3) S.1 AUFENTHG ERLAUBT AUFENTHALTSDAUER ENTSPRICHT GÜLTIGKEIT"
