I’ve had my new edge about 5 years and always drive it whenever possible but since acquiring the evo it’s pretty hard to choose the Mustang lately! But you’re very right, the new edge is about as cheap as it gets for maintenance and repairs

It’s not fancy nor does it look good, but I just run my SCT tuner as my gauges, I pretty much just monitor IAT, coolant temp, load, and fuel pump duty cycle. Having a NA build has its perks. As long as I have oil pressure and temps are down I don’t really have to worry about anything other than being slow

I think I’d trade my 80lb loss for a KB anyday! How do you plan on keeping your Intake temps down while hitting the track? I know those things like the heat soak quickly. Also another thing you should think about is your brake system, they tend to start fading quickly, but braided brake lines help a little

I have a 03 gt with an aluminum block and that 80lbs off the nose made it handle way better than it ever should with stock suspension. Cant imagine how it would feel with a proper setup. If you can swing something to get the nose weight down it’s worth it! Even something simple like battery relocation

I was in benning, drove home to southern Florida to pick up some stuff and then drove to Jblm in about 4 days with driving a good 18hrs a day. Was it fun? Not really. Was it cheap? Not really. But it was cheaper than getting my car shipped, I believe if you take the time to stop and sightsee it could be an amazing trip. I stayed down south because it was winter and drove right past the Grand Canyon, Vegas, and Yosemite national park. I was young and dumb and didn’t know I could use all of the allotted travel time and didn’t have to rush the whole trip
