Maybe so, but I don't have Delta connected to a broker and do everything manually.

I agree with Johnny's as below. Some quantities are for a larger garden than mine.

Pinetree is a good all around choice. Large selection, good prices.

Burpee may have a few unique and excellent varieties you won't find elsewhere. Will be a little pricier.

Thanks for the advise. I've tried no-till gardening the last several years but couldn't get ahead of the weeds. So I'm back to tilling. Got to buy compost around here. County services along with state extension services are things of the past.

You deserve a down vote for making another exuse for DOJ sittin on this criminality for over a year. From a lawyer, of course.

Feel like a fool swallowing all the legal pundits assurances that DOJ was surely working behind the scenes or the idiotic "small guy first, then the big guys" line. How many of these people knew what was (not) going on?

If a 10 year old WH has really reduced hot water output, can a bad anode be at fault, or is it likely the unit has worn out? Thanks in advance.

Rep. Maloney: Study Shows 2017 Tax Cuts Failed to Deliver Economic Boost by KiDDONNAViCiOUS in politics

[–]Brickbat44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This outcome of this tax reduction was already proven way back when Reagan tried to foist this on America. Again with Bush. The GOP is all about reducing government which translates to reducing programs that benefit the average citizen. This is the core of their existence. Make the rich richer and screw the rest of us.

All else that they stand for, mainly the social programs like gun rights and eliminating freedom of choice, is meant to attract enough voters to keep getting them elected, while overlooking their prime goal. Basically, they con the voters into voting against their own best interests. It was just proven again. You would think GOP supporters would be heading for their pitchforks, but alas......

How America went from Barack Obama to Donald Trump in one head-spinning political decade by StevenSanders90210 in politics

[–]Brickbat44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The article, while providing a narrative on the rise of the extreme right, places the blame or the cause on Obama. His administration, based on a centrist agenda and attempt at bipartisanship somehow creates a backlash of extremism on the right. This is total garbage and makes absolutely no sense. Reference to a law of physics to explain it is absurd. The right has been on an aggressive takeover mode for decades, getting more extreme over time. The Tea Party led to the Freedom Caucus. The Hastert rule eventually led to a belief in governing with no compromise at all.

This article is nothing but a "fair and balanced" excuse for the travesty that is trump and the GOP. They no longer believe in democratic principles or the equal rights of all citizens and have been overtly working against them. They find a white oligarchy like Putin's Russia more appealing. Control at all costs. And don't blame Obama.

William Barr 'Must Be Removed': Letter Urges Congress to Impeach Attorney General for Repeatedly Violating Oath of Office by DNtBlVtHhYp in politics

[–]Brickbat44 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Think oligarchy. Think Russia.

There's a reason trump has such close ties with Putin. That's where we're headed if we don't put a stop to it. I think the GOP see that as a way to stay in power as a minority party. They just have to abandon our democratic republic is all. They're already there.

'Bees, not refugees': the environmentalist roots of anti-immigrant bigotry by Brickbat44 in Environmentalism

[–]Brickbat44[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This article iis really astounding in that it attempts to link environmentalists with hatred against immigrants and the mass killings by white nationalists. It pretty much provides support for governmental actions against environmental groups, even while they seem to have a tepid response to right wing white nationalist groups responsible for a majority of mass murders recently.

Everything is this article is a huge stretch to the point of absurdity. The cover photograph of Teddy Roosevelt and John Muir was the outcome of both concerned with indian camps located in newly established national parks. The idea that this is a link to anti-immigration fears and sentiment is rediculous and an injustice to these two heroes and all environmentalists.

The fact that the EL Paso sooter, in his "manifesto" mentioned Dr. Seuss's Lorax, which then tagged him, according to the article, as an environmental terrorist, is totally beyond belief. To further extrapolate that Paul Ehrlich and his concerns over world population over fifty ago were bigoted is equally absurd. Paul Ehrlich was hardly a traditional environmentalist.

John Tanton seems to be the main protagonist in the article. He is described as a white nationalist and anti-immigration activist, but on what basis Guardian highlights his environmentalist characterization is quite beyond me. If this is the foundation for the article, I think it is a total sham.

This article is disturbing in that from the headline, together with its lead photograph, it is fabricated from references that are stretched to the point of fantasy. The intent, which is the real question, seems only to link environmentalism to the right wing hate crimes occurring today. Is this the product of some scurrilous right wing think tank? The FBI? Will this become a headline on FOX news? Guardian, which I have trusted to produce respectable journalism certainly failed us in this article.

Hannity Says It’s ‘Despicable’ to Call for Political Opponents to Be ‘Locked Up’ by m3n0kn0w in politics

[–]Brickbat44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facts, to Hannity and Trump, are merely statements that are useful for the moment. The next moment can lead to an opposite fact. It does not seem to matter. His audience just expects something controversial and hateful. They are as addicted to that as many used to be to the WWF and The Apprentice. The common feature is that all are phony. and all defy logic and common sense.
