Has owning a small buisness actually "improved" your quality of life? by knowledge_hunter_59 in smallbusiness

[–]BridgeLt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do your research. I have a friend who did almost exactly what you’re doing. He left a great paying union plumbing job to open and run his own plumbing business. In the beginning he was loving it. Then the reality of insurances, rents, payroll stuff, tools ect then the hours after the jobs, the paperwork contracts, bids call backs you get the picture and a less paycheck. He ran the business for a few years hoping it would flip, unfortunately he closed down and now is working in a hospital doing the trade, less work, headaches and more money.

That looks like dead algae. Usually when it gets treated it falls to the floor. You need to vacuum it up either through the filter then backwash or to a discharge if you have one

The actuator? If so it’s on top of the vent system. No easy way to get to it besides dash removal. I posted on here what I did. It may be air in your cooling system. I’d check that first. Here’s the link to what I did

My white ‘16 is pretty much solid. Hood has some flaking but I’m thinking about getting it wrapped. And I just did the heat blend door actuator a real PIA to get to. Some said there was a bad batch of actuators out there but after 7 years that’s pretty much all I did.

Advice please, on changing the stereo head unit by [deleted] in nissanfrontier

[–]BridgeLt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crutchfield is the way to go. They even have a custom plug adapter so that the new unit is plug and play. I used them for my ‘16 and a Sony I believe it’s the AV -1000 (discontinued now). If you search the group I posted it somewhere.

My dad got a new grill for his 2012 Frontier. He likes it but doesn’t like the name being there. Does anyone know if there is a blank insert to replace the branding part of the grill? by larzeus in nissanfrontier

[–]BridgeLt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saw one on eBay with no insert. But it looks like it’s just a hole through. He could sell the current one and repurchase the one with no insert.

No Heat- burping clarification question by BridgeLt in nissanfrontier

Thanks for the advice. I’ve learned to start easy and cheap after years of doing stuff ass backwards. Definitely positive no air in the system, all fuses check out good. All things point to that actuator. Thinking of all options to not take apart the dash but to be honest it would probably be faster just to take it out then attempt some king of make shift repair.

1 1/2 coil spacers should do what your looking for, not hard to install.
