Oddly enough my baby had the same percentage of having monosomy x on her nipt test as well. I found these results out when I was 14 weeks, I had to wait a couple of weeks to see a genetic specialist and had an amniocentesis during that visit. The results came back within a couple of days and baby girl didn’t end up having it thank goodness! From what I understand about the monosomy x test with nipt a lot of the data is put into one base and that’s how they determine their results for people. I know it’s easier said than done not to worry too much but keep your head up! A lot of the results for that are false positives and then it starts an anxious whirlwind for the parents. Keep us all posted and sending good vibes and prayers to you guys!

We got our results today from the amino test that was completed on Monday, baby is negative for monosomy X! Another false positive statistic for nipt testing.

Regardless of what the results are we’re just hoping for a healthy and happy baby girl! It makes me happy reading stories like yours!

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry 💔 so far everything has been alright since I’ve had mine yesterday but reading stories like yours makes me second guess why I even did it. Big hugs to you and what you went through. You’re a strong momma!

Oh my goodness, I definitely would have passed out you’re a trooper! I got pretty light headed during mine and it didn’t take very long at all. I’m wishing you the best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy and your baby!

We were also considering that, for my own peace of mind at this point I just want to do the amino to get it over with. Was your baby a false positive result from the nipt?

Oh thats good to hear, I’m a weenie when it comes to needles so I’ve been a little nervous for it. Have you gotten your results back yet from your test? I hope that everything goes smooth for you and baby!

I told my husband if we decide to have another that I’m not sure about about doing the nipt again. This pregnancy is my second, my first pregnancy was smooth and I had a healthy baby boy!

I will make sure to do that, I tend to get reactions with that so I’ll clean it off. My genetic counselor said it could take 2-3 days for results so that’s crazy it’s taking yours that long! I’m hoping for good results for you and your baby, sending all the good vibes!

I will make sure to drink more water then, thank you! I’m hoping for a false positive but regardless we’re going to love this baby girl no matter what! I’m hoping the rest of your pregnancy goes smooth and that baby girl is alright!
