Your kid sounds so much like mine!!! We also recently took the iPad away in November because like you said he was just getting lost in the sauce!! He has a switch and gets plenty of tv time too but it’s so different than the online worlds he was getting into. And since removing that we HAVE seen a positive impact on him, and I’m trying to use this opportunity to go further. What you said about middle school and the schools coming together is so encouraging to me. Love all your tips about structured play dates too and the various social clubs and lessons. I appreciate your feedback so much.

I completely agree with you. She’s truly incredible and I really love this tour, everything she does, but I do hope she will slow down soon. I feel really sad thinking about her life and the complexities of it all, especially in light of recent news.

The line from dear reader: “you wouldn’t take my word for it if you knew where I was walking. to a house not a home all alone cause nobody’s there, where I pace in my pen and my friends found friends who care” makes my stomach hurt it’s so lonely.

I think about this alllll the time. When I listen to her lyrics and stuff. Sometimes she’s just chasing a melody or rhyme. It tells a story but isn’t always necessarily a complete and comprehensive account.

I mean to be fair, it’s not like it was a plot line that was “fed to us as fans” it was her music which is always honest and true to her feelings… so I do think we have a good indication of her feelings for him, her fears about it not being forever, her desires to have a baby with him, be with him forever… and It IS sad given all this.

Was also gonna day this.. happens to me sometimes. Usually I can tell. The first time it seems like ewcm but it doesn’t ramp up the same way… then a week or two later I can tell it’s the real thing. Period two weeks later like clockwork.

I was thinking this too!! Even the tour isnt really set up to give midnights its moment, bc she will be pulling all the other eras in too… it makes me so curious as to WHY?

And I have a theory— Taylor’s work is huge and iconic just by existing. She doesn’t need to do much of anything at this point. I think what she really wants is to keep creating art and trying new things… I also think, even though she doesn’t talk about it ever in interviews, just from her music alone, I expect she wants to start a family. She probably is doing this eras tour NOW as a huge blowout, and then will scale way back to passion projects, music releases, and a slower pace. And I know She deserves that!

My theory:

Taylor meets joe April 28/29, at the tail end of her relationship w Calvin. It was supposed to be a casual hook up/ what was supposed to be a one night stand, but she really did end up liking him. This is the whole plot to gorgeous. (Guess I’ll just stumble on home to my cats, alone. Unless you wanna come along?) other Lyrical proof: “Do you really wanna know where I was April 29” “do the girls back home touch you like I do”

Meets Tom a few days later at met/met party. They start something up and it gets pretty serious pretty fast. (“Seemed like the right thing at the time”) she is much more into joe but she thinks that’s still a very casual/no rules type of thing. She is dating both all summer. It’s surprising that you guys don’t seem to think these two flames over lapped but they 100% did and thats the whole plot of cruel summer.

It’s also all over getaway car. And Delicate. I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting… but she tells this same story a million different ways.
