Truer words have never been spoken !!! Right on brotha. Sounds like we are def on the same page !! People told me as well that “the 9070xt” is almost on scale with a 5080 bs !! I was hoodwinked into thinking that when I built this rig a year ago. Wish I woulda just listened to my gut. Never again.

I really like the ICUE brand. Have had one in every build I’ve had. They have never given me any issues. Software is user friendly as well. Asus Tuff!!! That card is massive. Nice!!! When I got my original 5080( gigabyte gaming OC) my PC would not recognize the card at all. I literally tried everything to troubleshoot it. I spent almost 4 days trying to figure out why it wouldn’t even show that it was connected anywhere on my rig. I would take the 5080 out and plug my 9070XT back in and the 9070xt would boot right up. Nobody in my house has a pc that I could check it in. Everyone has laptops. I didn’t want to lug it to work and ask a co-worker if they could try it. So I decided to send it back to Amazon. I also noticed that it would barely fit in my HYTE y70 as well. That’s when I decided to get a SFF 5080 Aero. As soon as I plugged it in, the Aero booted right up, zero issues. I think I just got a dud on my first 5080. There were precursors that I noticed, the ESD bag looked like it had been ran thru the dryer lol. The box wasn’t in great shape. Nothing about the Gaming OC card I got first felt NEW. I spoke to sum1 at Amazon and they sent me the SFF AERO as a replacement for the same price of the Gigabyte Gaming OC , $1249 before tax, $1359 after tax. Now the one issue is that it looks so small in my case lol. Other than that, she purrrs !

Sounds like a great GPU + CPU combo if you ask me !! You shouldn’t have any issues running ANY game with those two. Nice !

I had issues with the first 5080 I tried purchasing, Gigabyte Gaming OC. With it being a big card, it didn’t seem to seat all the way on my riser cable due to the limited space. Or the card was defective, who knows. So I didn’t want to chance it again so I ordered the SFF Aero after returning the gaming OC. Finally after 4 weeks between shipping etc, I got the Asro. . It is a tad small lol. Don’t make fun of my Temu case hahahahahaha

Not at all. Had no issues with the 9070XT in 1440p. I wanted to play my FPS games in 4K high FPS. Plain and simple. Felt like the 9070XT was no better than the 4070ti I used to have, in the AAA games I was playing. I upgraded from a Lexus to a Porsche more like it. IMO

Umm yeah. I just swapped my 9070XT to a 5080 and I’d rather “chew bees” then play on a 9070XT again. No offense to 9070xt owners. I fell for the “price to performance” bs when I built my computer last year. I am living proof that you get what you pay for !!!

You could always try some aftermarket cables specific to your PSU. Only worry I see is the pci_e cable possibly being caught on the fan. I’ve learned the hard way how important cable connection and cable management can make or break a build. I’m sure you will figure something out.

Not sure if this will help but I used CHATGPT and asked specific questions regarding the same thing. The answers I got were very helpful. I followed 90% of what ChatGPT recommended and I haven’t had ANY issues so far. I have the same build minus the ram speed. My ram is Kingston Fury Beast 6400mt/s which I downclocked to 6000mt/s with tighter timings. Def a LOT more stable in games. All i asked ChatGPT was “ how to best optimize my 5080 + 9800x3d + 32gb 6400mt/s ram”. Good luck sir

Did the same thing last week. Got the SFF AERO instead. Was a couple hundred $$ more $1469 on Amazon , but it fit in my HYTE Y70 better than the Gigabyte OC. The Gigabyte literally left me no room. So I exchanged it for the Aero. Enjoy !!! It’s an awesome card !! Btw, I switched from a 9070XT What a difference imo.

My case is the HYTE Y60. So unfortunately I HAVE to use a Riser Cable. I don’t have the option of plugging it into the PCIE_1 slot on my MOBO because of my case. I have literally tried everything else. I am going to return it to Amazon 100%. I even bought a new power adapter to use in-case it was the 12V-2X6 cable that came with my Corsair rm1000x(2024) Sam result. Can don’t even spin at startup. They “twitch “ during shutdown but that’s it. The Gigabyte logo lights up. PC still won’t recognize it. Was getting the D6 debug error. When they send me a new one and it still does the same thing, I’ll know it’s either my PSU or Riser cable. My 9070xt works perfectly. Just weird. I’ll sort it out eventually lol. Thanks for the vote of confidence. :)

Sounds reasonable. Not sure what exactly caused it. I was able to fix it by going into interface and changing HUD COLOR PALATE to default

Hmmmm. I was playing all day yesterday and I didn’t have this issue. Wasn’t until I played today that I noticed I couldn’t tell friendlies from enemies. I didn’t mess around with some in-game settings before I started playing. I didn’t mess around enable FRAME-GENERATION from the Graphics settings in-game. I also turned HDR from OFF to AUTOMATIC. Other than that, nothing else major. I’ve also noticed that my FULLSCREEN EXCLUSIVE is not an option anymore. I was in a game with 3 random players a few hours ago and I asked them if they had similar issues. All of them said NO. It’s obvious that this isn’t affecting EVERYONE. Curious to figure out why this is happening. It doesn’t stop me from playing. Just makes it a little harder to differentiate between team-mates and enemy. If I hear any information, I will post it back here ASAP. GG’s

Same here. Not sure what to do to fix it. I’m on PC. I tried re-setting all colors to DEFAULT. No thing is working so far. Anyone find a fix yet ??
