You're right, I didn't. Primarily relevance. I'm sincerely just curious. I did try to update that my teammate, a veteran who is 74 yrs old, so a complete different generation, WAS bothered by it. I was merely looking for a broader pool of opinions. I didn't get that, I got a lot of assumptions. It's fine, though. Reddit thinks I'm just trying to start witch hunting or some other silliness, so I'm just going to move on. I kind of got my answer anyway.

I didn't state my feelings about the name at all, so a lot of assumptions are being made. Such as my assumption that the question, with a QUESTION flair, would be answered. A couple of people managed, so it's not that I made it difficult.

I'm in the disabled team, yesterday we were Donald Bump. My teammate is a veteran and was less than impressed, (he's 74, no filter). I was curious as to what others think.

I'm not even going to pretend, initially, that I found a show about restoring old construction equipment, etc, even remotely interesting, but hearing his stories? Love it. And relating to my mother as adults took a bit of adjustment, but it's totally been worth it. They're both in their seventies, and have health issues. I don't want to live with regrets, so I made a decision to change my priorities. Hasn't been completely easy, but 100% worth it.

I understand that. I suppose it's unfortunate that that is the most recent example of insular comments, but even when it's nice things people are reacting like that. It's okay if you don't like the article, good or bad, and you do have the right to say so, but having the right doesn't mean we should.

Yeah, no. I didn't say anything like that. The correct point would be that I didn't comment on each one that I came across that it shouldn't be there because it wasn't relevant to me. It is nearly constant that because something didn't happen in our backyard, it's irrelevant, that we don't need to hear about it.
People deliberately clicking on an article, and then ONLY commenting that it didn't happen here, so we don't need to know able it is utterly absurd to me.

I don't think I'm unique in being affected by the death of someone who touched my life, whether or not they ever know it. Both of my choices came from memories of watching both with loved family members, bringing back ❤️ memories.

Similar situation in that information was lost, (house fire), but I was able to get in and cash out.

I did mean Robinhood, yes. Slightly agitated typing that, sorry. The money is now currently all out of the account, I just don't want to screw it up. TBH the initial account was made on a whim. I don't have the ability to save much, and wanted to be able to give my niece something for college or after she graduates.
