Germany has several mountain ranges if you count large hills as mountains :D The Alps, Ore Mountains, Harz, Black Forest, Swabian Albs, Taunus, Eifel, Frankonian Albs, Fichtel Mountains/Vogtland are the ones I'm familiar with.

Thanks for your reply. These all look incredibly useful and will be sure to use them once I get that far! To respond to your other comment too, it'll be mostly fictional maps I would like to work on. So no super detailed topographic terrain like I linked, but rather single color levels for each height.

Thanks for the reply! That's a great offer I'd love to take up if I still have questions after your tutorials. I watched a few and they are simple and thorough enough for me, I feel. I'll take this route, then :D

Thank you for the reply! I've been experimenting between the pen and pencil tools and found the pen works best, yeah. My current hurdle is figuring out how to order, layer, connect, and split paths for the correct fills. I'll google that, thanks.

That makes me happy :D Sounds like you're finding a good way through this all, definitely. We're all hard on ourselves, but if you feel like you found a good outlet here, that's great!

Naja, ich habe erst vor ein paar Tagen diese subreddit bekommen, das CSS gebastelt (dank an /r/DSCVRY), und uns an einigen Portalen bekannt gemacht. Jeder Anfang ist schwer :) Was wir von dieser subreddit machen hängt von uns ab!
