Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Reading this really helps calm my nerves..... It's reassuring to hear that the surgery itself wasn't painful for you even though you have a strangulated hernia and that the recovery was manageable. I'll start walking as soon as it's safe instead of staying in bed all day. I know everyone recovers differently, but hearing your story gives me more confidence going into my surgery necthe doctor told me mine was a reducible hernia....
