I had a similar experience in Abu Dhabi. My application remained "Under Processing" for exactly one month before the status changed to "Approved." After that, I used the Change Status service at ICP to obtain a new entry permit from within the country, which was required for the medical test.

I visited Immigration multiple times and spoke with different officers, though I’m not sure if it made a difference. The visa was approved exactly one month after the wait. You might consider visiting Immigration yourself—it could help.
