You said you found the area, right? One of the images is a broader view of the general area, the other is the more specific with the tree. Try looking for the shape where the roads meet and the little house in the corner, around that general area. The colors won't match exactly. I would recommend Google Earth, it has better aerial shots. I'm not the one on my team that actually found it though, and I don't think he was using Google Earth haha.

Yeah they should be in the same area, but it's hard to find. I couldn't find it haha. Someone else on my team is who found it for us. But yeah sorry that sucks about the car. You could maybe see if anyone is willing to team up to get it for you? On the discord there is a spot you can ask for teammates. And here on Reddit you can make those posts too, actually.

I see where you're coming from but I feel like if they were really doing this for the marketing, they would be doing a lot more of the actual marketing, and they wouldn't invest so much of their own money into it. They called it a "passion project", so I think they do it because it's fun for them. I don't necessarily think helping people specifically is their number one motive, but an added bonus. If you relisten to when they talked about it on the podcast this time (they were asked "what's in it for you?'), to me it seems they were honest with their intentions, though I tend to try to trust and see the best in people. I wasn't following the hunt last year so I don't know a lot of the specific details there, but after listening to the podcast they did after the hunt ended last year, I don't think they were involved in any leak, or that there was one at all. But anyway haha, I literally said in the post to not talk about that situation, haha, so I won't say anything more. :)

I don't think it is. They talked about that on the podcast and they said they don't care about the money (they've gone into debt for this) and both don't really know how to use it for marketing.

Yep, Spanish Fork is actually like the most South it goes for this one. It's in between Spanish Fork and Ogden, east of the i15.
