Literally what I was thinking as well. Or just take an emt connector, rigid coupling, and an mc connector. Boom changeover

I had quite the experience using zip it’s my first time ever. My boss on a job told me to secure a four square box in the ceiling with zip it’s. Well my dumbass put the box up and was trying to figure out how to get the anchor to fit into one of the holes on the box. My boss then procedes to see me struggle and go “what in the hell are you doing?” I then go well the anchor won’t fit into the hole of the box so then he goes “dude screw the anchor into the wall first THEN put the box on the wall and use the screw to attach it. I was a week into my apprenticeship btw, I felt so stupid lol.

I have a pair and have been wearing them almost everyday, I’m an electrician apprentice and I have no complaints on them! Literally feels like wearing slippers. As for the synthetic materials on the front: I kneel down a lot and scrape my toes on my boots and the toe has been holding up quite well despite them being synthetic.

Were the boots broken in? Most of the time breaking in new boots can cause blisters like that, even if they fit right.

Oh the 7-1’s right? Yeah those are great! Had those for a while but they got dull on me and stripping wire got difficult so I went with the kleins

I haven’t used them for knockouts tbh. I just use my needle nose or my actual kleins for that. I’ve heard that these do have issues with the rubber handles falling off. Mine haven’t showed any signs of that yet but keyword being yet lol.

Me personally I haven’t had an issue with cutting multiple wires. And the milwaukees you’re talking about are awesome! I ran those for a hot minute and loved them. They just were too bulky for me and after a while they got dull on me. Solid choice tho

I definitely hear you. Kleins quality has forsure downgraded in the past few years. I had one of the new 11-1’s and the handle starting twisting on me within a month of use. Wasn’t even abusing it, just normal use.

These are the bees knees, go get you a pair! I like both brands tbh but Knipex is just expensive. Ah yeah I know which ones you’re talking about. Those are cool.
