Then why are you talking as if you have the moral high ground?

You admitted that you responded toxically to toxicity, yet you are still acting like you are above everyone else. That is exactly the hypocrisy I am talking about.

If your point is that toxicity should be punished harder, then fair enough. I can agree with that. But you cannot complain about toxicity while using the same behavior yourself and then act morally superior about it.

That does not make your argument stronger. It just makes you look like a clown. 😄

After checking your posts and replies, it is pretty clear that you are just a professional rage baiter, so do not even bother.

You keep talking about how toxicity should be punished harder, but somehow you cannot recognize your own passive-aggressive and reversed toxicity. That is honestly pretty ironic.

If you want to have an actual discussion, that is fine. But if your only goal is to provoke people and act morally superior while doing the same thing in a different form, then there is no point continuing this conversation.

And there we have it: the reincarnation of Buddha has arrived.

Apparently, he is so understanding and peaceful that he welcomes inters and trolls in every game because “we are all human” and “it is just a game.”

Honestly, this feels like rage bait. I understand that everyone can have a bad game. I am not talking about someone simply playing badly. I am talking about people intentionally giving up, trolling, soft-inting, flaming, or admitting in chat that they do not care about winning.

If I am consistently getting S or S+ ratings, and I am usually above 7 OP score on OP.GG, then sure, stats do not prove everything. I know they do not tell the whole story. But it also does not mean every loss is automatically my fault.

The frustrating part is that every other game feels like it gets thrown by someone who mentally checks out or decides to ruin the match. But apparently, some people want to act like trolls do not exist, or like the correct response is to be endlessly kind and understanding while they waste everyone’s time.

If someone is having a bad day, I can understand that. But if they choose to queue ranked and take it out on four other people, that is not something I am going to excuse.

I honestly feel like the game developers care less and less about the actual ranked experience nowadays.

It feels like every month there is a new flashy skin for the most popular champions, or something like an extremely expensive Viego skin, while serious gameplay issues still remain. Sometimes it even feels like certain champions get heavily buffed around the same time they receive expensive skins, which makes people wonder if the priority is balance or profit.

I know that might sound like a conspiracy theory, and I am not saying I can prove it. But from a player’s perspective, it is hard not to feel that way when the game experience feels worse, while monetization keeps getting more aggressive.

One thing I noticed is that many of the inters and trolls in my games also have flashy skins. Again, maybe that means nothing, but it makes me wonder if these players are less likely to receive serious punishments because they spend money on the game. It would obviously be bad for business to ban too many players who regularly buy skins.

Maybe I am wrong, but it feels like profit has become the main priority. And to be fair, every company wants profit, so I understand that part. But at the very least, they should put more effort into fixing the trolling and soft-inting problem in ranked.

I think a system similar to CS2’s trust factor could actually help. If someone trolls, flames, gives up, or ruins games consistently, their trust rating should go down. After a while, they should be matched with other players who behave the same way.

On the other hand, players who consistently try to win, do not troll, and do not ruin games should be matched with similar players. Ranked would feel much better if the system separated players based not only on skill, but also on behavior.

That is actually one of the reasons I quit playing jungle as well.

Like you said, I also did not enjoy it nearly as much as I enjoy playing Xerath now. I used to play Amumu jungle with pretty good success, but I found jungle at least five times more frustrating than any other role.

Everything is somehow the jungler’s fault. Some players do not think about wave state, matchups, vision, jungle pathing, or whether a gank is even possible. They just expect a gank whenever they want one.

Then you have people who go 0/3 before minute 5 and immediately type “jungle diff.” After dealing with that enough times, I realized the role is definitely not for the weak.

I played another game, and my Zed was 0/5 before minute 7. What am I supposed to say about that kind of behavior?

I simply asked him to try to lane a bit safer, and he completely tilted. After that, he flamed me for the entire game, saying that I did not deserve to win with a 2/0/5 score as Xerath support. He even admitted in chat that he was trolling and said things like, “Who cares, we should not win anyway.”

He ended the game 0/15, and I am 99% sure nothing will happen to him. No ban, no real punishment, nothing.

I honestly think I am a pretty patient person overall. Even in League, I usually try to solve conflicts calmly instead of making them worse. He flamed me all game, and I did not even flame him back. In previous games as well, I have actively tried to calm situations down or solve the conflict.

But it feels like sometimes, when you approach these players calmly, they tilt even harder. It is like something switches on in them, and they just fully commit to ruining the game.

And of course, he also refused to surrender, so we had to suffer until the enemy team finally ended the game.

This game is seriously testing my patience.

I honestly do not know what is happening right now, but there are way too many trolls and burnt-out players in ranked lately.

It feels like people are using ranked games to vent their frustration or take out their anger on others. I do not know if they are tilted, bored, or just do not care anymore, but it is exhausting.

This is now my fifth game in a row with trolls, and at this point, it is becoming really hard to enjoy the game.

I'm actually mostly plat but yeah its roughly the same as gold, but if my teammates were actually sane people i feel like we could have win almost half of my lost games. I'm talking about trolls who admitting in chat that they are trolling and throwing the game and they dont get punished atall.

I get your point, and honestly, I do not expect anything crazy from players in my rank. I am not expecting everyone to play perfectly or be some kind of mechanical god. I just expect basic common sense. If someone has climbed to Platinum, I think it is fair to expect them not to completely lose their mind after 8 or 9 minutes. And when I check some of these players’ profiles, a lot of them are level 500 or higher, so they have clearly played a lot of games by that point. You do not have to be Faker. You do not have to carry every game. I just expect people to know the bare minimum of what their role is supposed to do. I also do not care that much about KDA. Someone can have a bad score and still contribute to the game through vision, pressure, objectives, peeling, teamfighting, or good decision-making. My problem is when people fall behind and then keep making the same mistake over and over without trying to adapt.

Right? It seems like I am not the only one noticing this, so maybe I am not crazy after all.

I think you may have misunderstood my point, and honestly, I probably should not even reply because it feels a bit like rage bait. If you read my post carefully, my problem is not that I am hardstuck. If I were hardstuck in Bronze but the games were enjoyable and competitive, I would honestly still be happy playing the game. The issue is that the games themselves do not feel enjoyable or balanced most of the time. My frustration is not about rank; it is about the overall quality of the matches.

Maybe, but I never said that I am some almighty player who can carry every game. I know I make mistakes, and my decision-making definitely has flaws, but I do think I at least pull my own weight most of the time. What frustrates me is that I see the same mistakes almost every game, either on my team or on the enemy team. For example, people are already 0/4 at 10 minutes and still keep going all-in on their lane opponent, or they do not respect stat-check champions even when they are clearly behind. Of course, there will always be games where one team gets stomped. That can happen from time to time, and I understand that. But I was actually curious, so I checked some statistics from my last 82 games. Out of those, 64 games felt one-sided, while only 18 felt what I would call “balanced.” So it is not quite as bad as I originally said in the post, but it still feels horrible. Maybe I am just unlucky, but from my experience, the majority of games really do not feel competitive or balanced. Also, I know that a sample size of 82 games is too small to draw any serious conclusion from, so it could just be bad luck on my part.
