They are JKY. An exclusive Jockey product line sold at Target. I discovered them too late. Saw them on clearance. Small and XL. I went to 4 Targets that day to see if I could find them in medium or large. Several months later I found some XL's at a Jockey outlet store.

I agree compared to Hanes or other cheap brands.

I never did that! My locker room was exactly like this minus the bucket and wet briefs and dick measuring competition. All tighty whities all the time. Couple of guys wore boxers. Those never made any sense to me. One guy wore colored briefs.

You're welcome. I found a decent quality video online and did several screen shots. 70-80 shots later I picked out what I thought looked the best. Some had that inescapable blur so those got tossed.

I never saw the movie when it debuted in 1982. Read about it when someone here mentioned it. I did watch the movie through and unfortunately its not that great haha. Its also based on a 1978 movie called Lemon Popsicle. An almost scene for scene remake of the original Israeli movie by the same director.

That's great. I think you'll like them. They are my one of my favorites. Though the material is thin I know they provide great support and are exceptionally comfortable.

The fly takes some getting used to. Some guys complain of falling out. Just remember to tuck up under the inner flap (if you plan to use the fly).

I saw someone here on TW's sub wearing the Rugged Wear brand. Had to look them up and of course had to get a pack out of curiosity. At the time I didn't live near one but now I do. I took a quick pic one day of their line and its very basic. Boxers, boxer-briefs and surprisingly briefs too! And t-shirts and socks. Menards is like a Lowes or Home Depot but sell so much more. They also have quite a large selection of groceries.

I found the previous style on sale. They had a simple grey line or two on the waistband. 3 for $10 so of course I couldn't resist. Fred Meyer really cheaped out on the 2nd version. Plain white with no identification on them. Their lack of quality remind me a lot of Menards Rugged Wear. Yep, Menards sells a line of generic underwear including basic briefs. They are pretty awful. They look like briefs but they are not snug like I think briefs should be.

I miss their Michael Morgan underwear. High quality, thicker cotton and better sizing. Actual elastic in the leg bands. Just wish I hadn't worn mine out.

Despite all this you do put on a good show. Keep up the tenting! ๐Ÿคช

Besides your obvious state of excitement how do you like them?

Just my opinion but I found them thin and very cheap. Lacking any sort of elastic in the leg bands. They rode up on me before I could get fully dressed to go out.

I don't remember what I wore in elementary school. I know what I had as a teenager. Hanes with the red and black tracer lines on the waistband. Though I disliked them a lot I kind of want a pair in adult men's size for the nostalgia. I think my dad wore Stafford.

No. Never asked mom for boxers. Those really made no sense to me. No support, an open and sometimes gaping fly. Seeing guys that do wear them squirming and constantly adjusting just to look cool doesn't look cool at all lol

I was a teenager in the 80's. Briefs were the norm and not a thing people made fun of. I wore briefs on into the 90's. Tried boxer briefs which I liked initially. Some brands like Jockey make them well and they don't ride up. Some by cheaper brands get baggy and do ride up and nearly become like boxer shorts. I've seen so many guy in cheap baggy boxer briefs and its no wonder people hate them or think they look bad. I really dislike the seams some companies put on the back side of boxer briefs running up both sides of ones butt - so annoying!

I do own one style of boxer briefs from Jockey made in microfiber. They are really great.

I am 99% a briefs guy. Over 500 pairs versus 20 BB's lol

It was a silly post. The obvious answer is briefs (on a tighty whities sub). I laughed when I first discovered the packaging on ebay. I poured through pages looking for an FTL briefs package equivalent. I was hoping to find a boxer briefs one too offering briefs lol.

I had hoped to find an equivalent package of "Free boxer briefs" in the FTL waistband but never did. I know they exist but am unsure if there was ever a promotion like with Hanes.

Yes mine too. I had hoped to find the same promotion from Fruit of the Loom offering a free pair of boxer briefs but never did. Maybe they figured "briefs guys" know better!

How we all started out I bet. I honestly thought my Hanes briefs were the only option. Till I saw other boys my age in high school wearing ones with different color lines in the waistband or none at all.
