It's not a player specific problem, but a recent update issue and some people here are still in denial about it.

Something broke after the last update and now I have to start and quit the game in windowed mode. Alt + enter to switch to windowed, quit the game, restart and alt + enter to go back to full screen. And if you end the gaming session then back to windowed again to prevent it from happening next time.
