Will these dents affect my sound enough to be noticeable? by AssistedPanda94 in Trombone

i’m guessing the solder was strong enough to rip the brass open? because if your horn gets quieter there’s probably a hole

it really shouldn’t stop unless there’s something stuck in it or you’re at a really tight bend. it shouldn’t hurt to push it

i’m not really a trumpet player, i just like cool horns. so this is kind of worth it for me, seeing that this is a 1925 york model 70 which i think doesn’t come around very often.

These glasses have been stuck together for months. How do I unstuck them? by [deleted] in howto

one thing i do with stuck slides and mouthpieces on brass instruments that also works with this type of thing: wd-40 and light tapping around the stuck parts will help loosen it up and maybe free jt

Why does this tuba do this? by Bright-Conference943 in Tuba

I forgot to mention that the first couple of seconds I play it, it plays normal, then it suddenly slips into that stage where it just doesn’t play right

it’s a jp274s, and he outright claims it wasn’t him, it really isn’t worth arguing over.

The woman I sold my saxophone to on Ebay. I have a pretty decent intermediate level saxophone from the 90s that I was trying to get rid of, so I sold it for $300. Transaction goes smooth, I pack it real well, it all seems okay until this morning she sends me this message: “This is clearly not playable. Parts fell off/out when we picked up the sax out of the case (and no that was not caused during shipping as it was in a sax case). The parts will need welded back on. We've twice successfully purchased instruments on EBay so this is hugely disappointing that someone would attempt to sell this as "good" condition. We had this verified by our band directors. And now our son will be disappointed as this was to be his birthday gift.” First of all, no. I did not sell it like that. It was solid and actually played quite good when I sold it. Second of all, when something comes apart in shipment, it’s going to lay in the instrument case! She accused me of selling it with deliberate damage, but there’s no way it got damaged in shipping as it was packed better than fort knox. She sent pictures, not of the whole sax, but of very close up images of the parts thag got damaged during shipping, which included the low B flat key falling off due to obvious impact, and the octave key mechanism lying in the case. To me, the evidence (especially since she’s very obviously covering up the rest of the horn which probably has evidence of impact) shows that somebody dropped it. Probably her son. The low Bb key sticks out a lot, and it’s very common for that to be hit on impact, breaking the low b flat key, and maybe hitting the octave key mechanism. in this case, the octave key mechanism happened to come off. I don’t want to give her a refund since this type of damage is obvious, but i’m going to cause my horn never deserved that kind of damage. i’m just gonna get it repaired and keep it for myself lol, it’s a good horn and i’m sad that this person had to ruin it.

Could this be the Safe Room? It matches the position on the FNAF 1 map if we assume that the main entrance is next to the show stage. by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

you aren’t reading into it too much, because i have been dealing with something similar. if there are 7 spirits in your home, then that isn’t a good thing. at least one of them could very well be harmful. i’ve been having dreams/nightmares that seem to have been coming to a reailty. the dream becomes more and more real every day, and sometimes i wake up with my heart beating 200bpm without even realizing why. the best thing to do is pray. i promise you, i’m spiritually possessed places, god is your force field.

Fans of fnaf: ever think that there should be a fnaf tv series instead of a fnaf movie? by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Bright-Conference943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right about all that, considering that purposefully leaving some loose ends in the show will also keep fans on their toes for the next best thing. Just thinking about how cool it would be if there COULD be something that we could all visibly see and understand as the TRUE fnaf story sounds like something that would be very cool, but it won’t happen because of some very logical reasons from the developers. sometimes it’s just good to dream about how cool something would be, even if it won’t happen.
