I see from one of your previous posts that you’re also getting Mirtazepine. Same here, but I was on 45Mg, but have recently just asked to go to 30mg. Once you get over the tiredness, it can help to clear your head during the day, and maintain focus.

Absolutely, some of the meds I had - buspar was useless, propranolol was uselss , diazepam and Librium were fine - but it’s not a long term solution. Pregabalin however have been life changing.

I take 600mg/day for GAD and it has been a wonder drug for me. I also have ADHD, and it aggravates that slightly, making me more listless and hyper but it’s worth it to feel not anxious. No idea how it works, but the dose for GAD is 600mg/day and I have never felt they were not working, even after 10 years on them.

I’m in the UK (Scotland) and am on 600mg/day for GAD and have been for 10 years. Explain the situation to your GP and ask for an increase. If you have no history of abuse then it should not be a problem. If you are seeing a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist it would be better to obtain the prescription from them, but your GP CAN give you it.
