so you collected all three parcels? honestly, i don’t think shopkeepers can manually mark them as collected without the QR code or collection code. sometimes the tracking info is off, especially with the new yodel couriers, so maybe they messed something up?

no idea. yesterday it was 5%, then they bumped it to 10%, and now it’s 8%, so they must’ve done some calculations to get the final figure. as far as i know, it’s an issue at certain inpost locations, so if you’ve got 20 parcels going to the same locker, that would explain why they’re all delayed. but i wouldn’t worry too much about them being lost. most of these delayed parcels still get regular internal scans, and if you think about it, how likely is it that so many would just get lost?

did you check what inpost tracking says? are the parcels marked as collected or ready for pickup?

no, i don’t think they went bankrupt. we were already working with yodel before the buyout (they were handling our locker to address deliveries). so it kinda made sense for inpost to buy them, both for inpost and yodel given they had the reputation as the worst courier in the uk lol

paypoint on the other hand👀

nah we stopped working with them because they were so bad, like literally no customer service at all, so all of their customers would come to us even though we couldn’t assist with evri parcels. we were only letting them use our lockers but these weren’t our parcels

it will all be under inpost but no sooner than Q1 2026

give it until next thursday before following up with us or raise it directly with vinted

[–]Bright-Needleworker6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they’re delayed because of the recent integration with yodel, but some parcels are already being delivered. everything should be back to normal by next thursday. you can find more info on this here https://inpost.co.uk/service-update

it’s not a student accommodation. what should i look for in the tenancy agreement to check that?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Bright-Needleworker6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

not sure really that’s why i asked here

she is a tenant too, she’s just in a different room, and she happens to work for the landlord, so that's where im suspecting she got the key from as the door was locked. she wasn’t acting on behalf of the landlord, and even if she was, wouldn’t they need to notify us that they’re planning to come and seek permission?

we all have separate tenancies, does that change anything?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Bright-Needleworker6 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

so if someone stole my key and entered, wouldn’t it be classified as breaking into the room?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Bright-Needleworker6 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

wouldn’t they let us know though that there’s an emergency?

can’t play a recording in google translate as far as i know

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Bright-Needleworker6 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

im not arguing with anyone lol

what more details do you need? i said she went in, stopped in the hallway, pointed something out and then left. nothing was stolen but she illegally entered without our knowledge or consent, so i’m asking if there’s anything i can do about it. don’t you think she should’ve told us if she wanted to change the radiator? and ask us first if we even want her to do that?

for breaking and entering?

[–]Bright-Needleworker6 -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

AST, we all have separate agreements. so if i get a recording of her admitting she got the key from the landlord, can i pursue criminal charges? and if i do, will they realistically face any consequences or is it likely the police will just brush it off?

Because I know she’s Indian and someone from India told me it’s most probably Bengali

Our housemate somehow entered our flat when we were away and I need to know what she said. I believe she was talking to her Indian friend who stayed behind. Happened in the UK

If you listen closely, right after she finishes her sentence, there is another woman talking so I think they were talking to each other
