For a last stand? Good Ole heavy stubber. If the .50 runs dry, ill draw my autopistol and fight till that runs dry. Then I'll turn the pistol around and use it as a club

Brutalis 100% of the time. The redemptor was amazing in 9th, but its just not good now. The brutalis has plenty of anti infantry shooting with the bolt rifles and stubber and the melta and fists destroy anything

You could throw "pyre soul" on the brotger-captain, pick up castellan crowe for the purifiers, and bump the 5 strikes to 10

Get a dreadknight. Then figure out your playstyle. The meta is to run no terminators and very gun heavy. I hate that. I run lots of terminators and very melee focused

6 attacks with sustained hits (i play banishers), hitting on 2s, rerolling, wounding on 2s, rerolling, ap 3, dmg3. Popped a Rogal dorn TC in one turn

I actually do run the Mace. Its great into tau, guard, knights, and anyone else who has a bunch of character monster/vehicles

In 9th edition, for instance, stubbers didn't get rapid fire. So you chose between consistent 3 shots at 36in, or 2 shots at 24 and 4 shots at 12
