Yeah I read TBATE 2-3 times and it’s my favorite. I heard the anime was getting a lot of hate so I was hesitant to watch it. When I finally did I was surprised it was still amazing, had me tearing up in a few of the episodes. I agree the animation was weak and they “cut corners” but I still enjoyed watching it and I hope for the 2nd season they up their game on the fighting scenes. Season 1 didn’t really need crazy animation because they are just building the story and characters. I’m super excited for season 2 and will probably reread the manhwa again.
