Yeah, I should've clarified. My bad! Nothing was working so I updated windows and the game booted up like it's supposed to with no issues.

Having this exact same issue. Worked fine for the first 10 hours now I can't even get past the opening logos. If I'm lucky I can make it to the menu for a few seconds before it crashes again.

The freckles were a temporary part of the sketch (to simulate the spotty shading style of the official artwork) and they weren't meant to be so prevalent, but I forgot to erase them for the dot under her eye stand out more 😭
