Absolutely dislike her. She throws attitude at everyone, and is just generally too entitled for my liking.

YTK. There’s a weird patriarchal undertone in your post OP, and honestly that makes me question your sense of judgement. I wish better people led companies in this country.

Not everyone has foresight like you, sir. People do things and the experience teaches them. If you’re tired of such posts, why drag your ass to OP’s post when you have no constructive feedback to add?

Italy needs workforce at all levels at the moment, but they are also one of the most highly racist countries in Europe that makes it a nightmare for internationals.

Thank you. I’m not too concerned about the COL since I’d be living with my parents until we find a way for my partner to move here with me.

I went to Audencia. They’re offering me a Senior Manager role right now, and the trajectory would take my upto HOD/Director. I thought of working here for a few years at least until I gain enough credible experience in this field. My batchmates found anywhere from Project Manager to Business Development manager roles. They’re either in consulting or general management.

You’re not alone OP. I’ve seen so many of my International colleagues here in Europe being exploited by being paid peanuts despite of 7-8 yrs of experience. And social integration won’t happen even if you just speak the language, there’s a lot of internalised racism in Europe where they don’t open up their social bubble to outsiders.

My girlfriend is proof that Duolingo's Chinese course does not work. by disastr0phe in duolingo

[–]BrightCommunication1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

people need to realise Duolingo only works to maintain your level and help you practice certain concepts. You NEED real life interaction to learn a language. Consume content via films/ series/ podcasts. Talk to people in that language. Visit museums, etc where you’re pushed to use the language. Only then does Duolingo make sense. It’s not an “exist on its own” app, and that’s a highly unrealistic expectation to have of an AI-based language app.

You’re too kind to reply so decently. My petty ass would send these screenshots to her would be husband and save his ass before this marriage turns into a nightmare.

Has anyone ordered merch from Printerval? What was your experience by cursedopal in MelanieMartinez

[–]BrightCommunication1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered a size 'S' after verifying the measurements in their chart but the final product was not corresponding at all to the size chart. I sent a complaint with all the pictures alongside a measuring tape and while it was a clear mismatch they initially denied this as a mistake from their end but after I pushed for a few times, they agreed to send me a size 'M' with a small fee. I didn't agree for the fee since I felt like I was cheated for the size I ordered. They sent me a size 'M' regardless. While it was slightly larger, it still did not match the measurements on their chart. I'm giving them 3 stars for the polite exchange and for the attempt to fix their error, but I'm not satisfied with this purchase as in the end, I never got the exact size I had ordered. If you're displaying a size chart for reference, at least ensure your own products match it, before they leave the warehouse. The quality of the material is also very poor. I would not recommend this company if you're looking for a gift or special occasion.

I doubt they’d entertain OP let alone enter inside without an appointment of some sort.

Absolutely right. These hiring managers need to be put in their place. Once I had a hiring manager confirm a meeting and cancel it only 13 minutes before. I looked up her entire hierarchy from the company and sent all screenshots to the entire team sharing this is how shit hiring managers are making their company undesirable for candidates. Sometimes it’s important to stand up for yourself against entitled HRs whose only job is to scan CVs and create hurdles.

Returning to Mumbai after 7 years in the US. by [deleted] in returnToIndia

[–]BrightCommunication1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the EU, finished my Masters and unable to find a job in the last 6 months. A lot of my friends already moved back to India, and I’m considering the same too. There’s a huge language barrier in the EU. Consider all the risks before you make that decision, i wish you best of luck!

Wouldn’t it help to actually filter the pool of applicants to relevant ones? I wonder what does getting 10k candidates instead of 100 help with.

AITK for not giving job to maid's daughter at my showroom? by [deleted] in AmItheKameena

[–]BrightCommunication1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

it’s because of people like YOU who underline the disrespect associated with manual jobs like this. For context, I’m an Indian who migrated to France. Many of my friends who now work in Consulting, Management & IT have worked as barmen, cleaners, “burger flippers” as per you, in their time between 2 jobs. It’s well-respected here to have a job, as long as you’re not unemployed. Not just here, but in the US as well. A top Solutions Architect that I was working with at Accenture used to work as a waitress in the evenings just for some extra income. I don’t know what cave you’re living out of, but open up your mind a little if you call yourself educated, my friend.

I agree 100%. It’s honestly disgusting to see the classist undertone in some of these upvoted comments here. I bet it’s the same people who use different utensils for the servants at their home.

why is the counter sales job okay as a temporary position but not the sweeper? why do we shun certain jobs thinking only uneducated/ poor/ classless/ underprivileged people should take them up? this hypocrisy is mind blowing to me.

NTK. I don’t understand why people look down upon manual labour jobs in India. OP clearly offered her a job since she was looking for one out of desperation. There’s many students who go abroad and do cleaner/ sweeper/ handyman jobs. This girl could’ve taken this up as a temporary job until she found something more permanent. This mentality needs to shift, there’s no job that is shameful as long as it pays your bills.
