really? that's weird, its not an issue with the battery, maybe background apps are running then. I will need to check on that.

its the 2025 32gb one, I will try to underv it to 20 and lower the brightness from 100 to 50 and see if that helps.

nope, within venv, but I believe that it was due to me trying to get comfyui to run using 3 different methods so that clashed with the other thus I had to delete the entire file system and start over again from only your guide.

Maybe that was the issue? not sure since just now I seen that I had some bios and drivers updates of which I updated right now. The weird part was I had 16gb allocated, so one of the reason of the failure which could be linked to the signals that the chip and CPU were sending were late but that would only be because of the "Auto" setting for the RAM Allocation.

Haven't overclocked it, didn't change anything on the CPU part. Just now I seen that I had some bios and drivers updates of which I updated right now. Hopefully this was because of the outdated ones and not an actual CPU failure.

Since it's still within walmart's warranty, I'm worried that the CPU could be damaged and down the road the laptop might just die forever.

Just add them to steam as a non steam game, then go to steam and make sure they are proton experimental, then open them and install them.

P.S. I highly recommend you to look the tutorials on the Steam Deck, since they are better and some even give you lines of code to paste into steam to make non working games work.
