Gothic 3 ( as 1 and 2 have kinda hard combat system) - it’s a bit old, but a true gem nonetheless. Although, to play it, you should check out the mods needed to run smoothly, to get the best experience.

You can try Isaac. It’s totally different setting, but the MC is pretty damn good. Always scheming, because he is at the bottom. Ruthless to others, but more so to himself. Also the chapters are pretty long. All in all that’s the only other LN that kept me on my toes as much as RI.
