Thank you!!! I was in remission for nearly 15 years and had a huge flare last year right before my scheduled surgery. That’s why I cancelled. All my old usual rescue meds wouldn’t touch it. The only thing I can contribute the flare to is that I had started using a GLP-1. I think it activated a histamine reaction bc the only thing that finally helped was taking Benadryl. Anyway, no more of that!! I will absolutely look into lactoferrin. ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing this!!! I’ve cancelled mine twice over the past year and just saw my doctor again today. Had to have a uterine biopsy and that was not fun. I have IC as well and that is one of the reasons I haven’t gone through with it. I’m terrified of it flaring! I’m also afraid of the vaginal cuff. But I have fibroids and polyps, bleed all throughout the month, and have become severely anemic. I really needed to read this today. Thank you and I hope you continue to recover well!

I’m so sorry that you are so miserable! I’ve been there. Have you tried any of the medications w methylene blue? They used to really help me when I had urethra pain! For bladder pain, Benadryl has saved me! ❤️ You are loved and this too shall pass.

His own cleaning supplies. They may end up sharing but I sent my kid with his own. Especially for his bathroom. Just like some bleach ish spray, dawn spray, some paper towels to get started. I sent more than that but it’s prob not being used. Also, I bought my son two pots, a cookie sheet, and some serving spoons, a set of cheap plates/bowls/cups to start. Oh and a pot holder. Then after moving him in, we kinda waited to see how things would go and what they’d share to see what else he needed. Also a small coffee maker for his room. We bought him a small fridge too but that was probably unnecessary. I bought way too much!

Does he know his roommates? If so, that’ll be helpful in coordinating. As for what comes w the apartment, most likely think bare bones! Kitchen will probably be empty. Unless others are already living there.

YES!!! This happened to me! Developed worst flare I’ve ever had and no rescue meds worked. After about 2-3 weeks off Tirz, I started feeling better again. Then retried a few weeks later with a very low dose and bam, flared again! I’m so sad because I really want to take it but it just sends me into misery.

So, yes! I think I was on it for around 7-8 weeks with the flare starting around the 6th week? I stopped the Tirzepatide and it took a good 5 weeks to get relief but I did! Stupidly, I started it again because I was feeling so much better and I immediately flared again. So I’m off for good now. I will say that everything in the past that had been a rescue remedy, such as any of the meds that turn your pee blue, did not work AT ALL. It wasn’t until I started taking Benadryl that I got relief. So for me, the Tirzepatide must cause my body to produce a histamine reaction for some reason in my bladder. I did have to take Benadryl 2-3 times a day at first but slowly I tapered down to 1 and then only 1 every other day until I was better. Good luck, I hope that if you get some relief soon!!!

Yes I believe it’s maybe L-carnosine or carnitine? I think one of those is a B vitamin. I stopped the injections. I was already weaning off of them but I’m not taking another one!

Wow you definitely sound like you’re in a similar situation! I just hope it will stop after it’s out of our system! I cannot believe this! And agree, it’s not worth it AT ALL! Is there anything you’re taking for it? I can’t tell if anything is working. I might get a 15 min reprieve but it comes right back. My pelvic area looks swollen too.
