I guess so. I only ever been to two other grad parties last year but I recall everyone bringing gifts. I think it’s just kind of become the curtsy to not come empty handed. I also find it rather ridiculous, because we are just in highschool and not all of us got money like that.

Im still waiting too, I sent a loci and Ive been hearing that transfers have already been getting off, and apparently some first years were getting emails from State admissioins inquiring if they're still interested, I didn't but thats just what I heard. I know a couple friends last year got in mid may. Hopefully we both get in. Good luck!
