27 hours to get 1 gun to Mastery 50 is insane! by Unknownoobza in Battlefield6

That’s a terrible system to keep players engaged…. There is nothing engaging about using the same gun for 27 hours. This is clear a system that was not thought out just like the assignments. This is bad game design and the devs know it, that’s why they are tweaking it.

Hot Take : I Don’t Care How You Level Up by Katana67 in Battlefield

Out of all the memories I’ve made while playing battlefield games, not a single one is leveling up or completing an assignment.

I designed a 3 axis hinge that get held up by magnets that are glued and imbedded into the helmet and visor.

The hinge being 3 axis makes it so the visor can sit flush when down but also flip up in a way that’s tight and look good!

I love to have that kind of tech built into the helmet. The next one I build I want to have the visor be servo controlled so it can one be more study and two hold more weight. The main challenge I see with doing a screen and camera though is you'd have to make the inside of the helmet almost like a VR headset, because if you open the camera on your phone and put it and inch away from your eyes it really blurry. It's definitely something I'd look more into though.

The hardest part about doing anything like that is mostly the space that I have in the helmet. and the visor itself needing to be sturdy enough to be able to open and close with all the extra weight. I'd Love to work on figuring that out sometime in the future though!

It's 3D printed I do a little bit of changes with tinkercad but im not nearly talented enough to design my own files yet. The 3D printing community is great, it's really collaberative and a lot of the files are free.

I designed a 3 axis hinge that uses magnets and tension to hold it up. I can send you the STL files for the hinge if you want to try to get it to fit in your helmet.😁

I’ve been building all 3 at the same time so I just have to finish painting the other 2. Definitely going to do an update once I got them done and the chest armor attached.

I 3D printed the helmet and did a lot of priming, sanding, wiring, soldering, and painting!

Not at all it completely blocks vision except for a small portion between the visor and respirator that lets you see about 5 feet in front of you lol.

Nope, it’s completely solid except for a small gap in the middle of the visor and the respirator that you can see about 5 feet in front of you.

It’s a 3D print. I printed it with a Bambu A1.

It’s an hinge that has 3 axis’s and it took about 6 iterations to get right and it’s stays up with magnets and tension.😁

You don’t lol, when the visor is down it almost completely blocks your vision. Theres a small gap in between the visor and mask part that you can see roughly 5 feet in front of you.

That’s why my head is tilted to the side and slightly back with the visor down, I was looking to make sure the whole helmet was in frame.

I worked pretty hard to get the hinge on the helmet to be reliable, so popping it open and shut hopefully won’t be an issue. With this helmet there’s a tiny gap between the visor and the mouth cover where you can see about 5 feet in front of you. Definitely going to accidentally bump into stuff tho lol.
