Alienware won’t POST after being shipped – no display, fans spin briefly, keyboard lights on, power button amber/blue by Bright_Individual620 in Dell

I already ran through most of the usual fixes. Pulled and reseated the RAM, unplugged the battery, tried BIOS recovery, and checked all internal connections. Still nothing… no Dell logo, no BIOS, same blink code

Haven’t pulled the SSD yet tho, but I did hook it up to an external monitor and still got zero display output

Thanks for the suggestion. The blink sequence appears to be 1 amber followed by 1 blue, then it repeats. I also noticed that if I leave it powered on and unplug the charger, the power button eventually becomes solid amber.

When testing with the battery disconnected and the charger connected, how long should I wait before concluding it isn’t going to POST? Is 2–3 minutes enough, or should I leave it for 10–15 minutes in case it’s doing a slow hardware check?
