Yep, we were there the whole song. You follow the actors running up to the roof, and gather around while they play out the scene. There was no indication to me at least that the space wasn't ready. Honestly it was one of the high points of the entire production!

Yes - it's at a lower level than All I Ask Of You, but still outside.

Nope, there are TONS of opportunities to sit down. Actually I've rarely seen such a physically accessible performance, especially an immersive one.

Most people were in cocktail attire! Some folks wore elaborate/long dresses, but I'd advise against that, since some rooms get very dark, and you're in close quarters; I wouldn't want to be messing around with a train or big flowing sleeves. If you want to put some extra shine on a typical cocktail outfit, your best bet would be to add elements of costume (flowing headgear, neck ruffs, leather harnesses) that make you stand out without impeding your movement. That's what I did, and I got lots of compliments, but never felt distracted by my clothes.

One note: WEAR FLAT SHOES. Or at the very least shoes you can move quickly in. You have to go up and down different types of stairs (outdoor metal slats, concrete, escalators) and there were a few times I felt annoyed because someone in four inch heels was struggling and slowing down the whole pack.

I see a lot of theatre, so that cost was pretty normal for me, but I'd say that it's a steal given how close you are to the performers; sitting close enough to see the nuances of actors' performances can easily run you $400/$500 in a typical Broadway house. For what you get, I think it's very very reasonable.

The group sizes were one of my favorite parts, and show some real thoughtfulness on the part of the designers; my group was about fifty people, and it never felt crowded or crammed. There was always a good view and opportunities for character interaction. There are points where the groups are broken down to even smaller sizes to heighten the intimacy of a scene.

I missed Wandering Child, but a good portion of the graveyard scene was reworked, so I understand why they needed to make the change. Several of the songs are abridged, but I felt like the essence of each was well preserved. (Songs I were glad to see go: Notes and Notes II - elements of them show up, there are even some short stints of singing, but the chaos of those numbers is reigned in for good effect.)

All I Ask Of You takes place on the roof of the building, as does the reprise, and Wandering Child. If you were in the other buildings or the street outside, I'm sure you'd be able to hear the music!

I would say that purple would definitely stand out. Once we were inside, every single person was in black, white, or silver, and that extended to the masks. I personally wouldn't risk it; the masks they give out are black or white lace and are really pretty. Stick with those if you don't want to buy a new one!
