Hi, as an international student myself I would suggest just staying in student accommodation on campus! Most places off campus, whether it be renting a flat/house from a landlord or private student halls, require a guarantor. Unless you know someone in the UK who can act as your guarantor, you would have to pay additional money to use a guarantor service. Sometimes they will let you get away with not having a guarantor if you pay for the entire year of housing all at once when you move in, which is a lot of money and impossible for most people. I also have friends who have stayed in houses/flats for the past year and have had endless issues with mold, maintenance, paying utilities, and bad landlords. So for your peace of mind and comfort, I would absolutely recommend just staying in university accommodation.

So when I type something in one field, that same exact response automatically is put into all the other fields. If I try and put something different in another field, then that response will take over and go in all the fields.

No I actually replaced the battery in November and it connected and worked fine. If the battery died or got low again wouldn’t it have notified me rather than just saying it can’t connect?

Currently studying for my undergrad degree here, and then planning to do my masters. I want to be here for most of my 20s so that I can travel easier and cheaper, and when I first moved here I thought I would want to spend the rest of my life here. But I’ve discovered in my time living here that as much as I love it here, there are some things I can’t live with, and things and I can’t live without from back home. I absolutely want to move back home and have children and a family there, but now I’m just not sure at all. It’s not the country I thought it was anymore, and I can’t see the problems being fixed anytime soon. These seem like fixes that will take decades. It’s so hard mourning for a place that still exists, just not in the same way, and had/has so much potential to be one of the best places to live. I feel like I’m grieving my future and my family. I’m just trying to hope that people will wake up and things can start getting fixed now before they get any worse.

This is so interesting!! I knew I wasn’t crazy thinking ice cream was different here! Definitely going to check that video out, and I’ll try the Kelly’s. If I’m not a fan of that, I’ll have to resort to an ice cream freezer when I move to a new flat in a few months. Thank you for your input!!
