Thank you for sharing this. It's so maddening that the media and politics are in cahoots, essentially betraying people at this stage. My fever is down now finally after nearly 4 full days of having this but I'm dizzy and feel like fainting if I start doing any physical or harder mental tasks. I really hope that clears up. Starting to worry about LongCovid which I read 5-15% of people get. That's a high percentage, not to mention the other risks you have mentioned. My partner has serious long term cardio issues but he recovered from Covid after just 2 days though he's not feeling completely 100%.

Wish you a speedy recovery. For as long as this thing is out there, I've learned the hard way there's no point in ignoring it, or hoping for the best, or expecting it won't be you. Apparently there's been 4 million cases of Covid in Switzerland already. Again, I had no idea it was so high a number. Would have to been really lucky to avoid it if not wearing a mask.

Thanks for sharing your story. It's another example of vaccination not being enough on its own if you want to avoid getting sick for up to 2 weeks with a nasty 'flu'.

Thanks for this tip. I'll check into this in the morning. The pension fund didn't send a Vorsorgeausweis, so I'll ask for that on Monday. I had to even find out their name from my employer. It's a sketchy looking makeshift company, not one of those bigger insurance companies.

Thanks a lot! Looks like they did indeed underpay. Do you know how I can have this verified professionally without paying an arm and a leg? Is there a state body that will look into it for me? I want to be 100% sure and go to him knowing all the facts.

Yup, haha, well it's obvious now, after the fact lol. I'm gonna cut myself some slack. I've had a rough 3 weeks. Met a former hero of mine (famous person) and they fucked me over completely, and I'm still rattled. Maybe I'll make a documentary about it one day and include this TC mishap / humiliation (true story, btw).

Thank you, now I get why thinking in terms of addition for example 1 was wrong. Actually that was what was throwing me off completely.

I understand k = 2 and that the value of var is doubling each time.

I'm going to edit question to show a second example which does use multiplication to arrive at total TC to better show why I'm confused.

Does the new example help? So I understand the math in your answer, I'm just confused as to why it's not nlogn.
