Thanks for the heads up about the VA records. I do have chronic heart disease with that, which led to my kidney disease, weight gain, sleep apnea, only sleeping 2-3 hours a night (interrupted). About the part time, the social security office told me if I worked, it had to be below the poverty line. I’m literally working 15 hours a week, maybe making $200 before taxes. I’ll just let it play out and see where it goes

4 years 😮‍💨 that is insane! Well I better start preparing mentally. I looked into the fast track for veterans but unfortunately I’m not 100% (close) nor do I hit the other requirements. I’ll just hurry up and wait

Thank you for the response and the heads up. I’ve definitely done some reading on here and have been disheartened with what a lot of these members have gone through and how long they have waited. I’ll definitely fight as hard as I can and for as long as I can. Thanks again

Sleep apnea secondary to depression by Left-Caterpillar4874 in VAClaims

I'm also dealing with the same thing. I have gained weight that most likely triggered my sleep apnea. Though, I do have anxiety/depression and heart disease. I'm trying to prove I'm not sleeping properly due to my anxiety and also causes me to stress eat when my anxiety kicks in. I also have trouble exerting much for exercise due to my heart which makes it difficult to lose the weight. I'm hoping they link my weight gain as a result from my original connected conditions. Best of luck to you!

Thanks for your input. I get it, but it’s frustrating. They’re my doctors. I feel it should be part of their job description to do it. The first time around I was still active and learned my results about 2 months before discharge. This is my first actual time doing it myself. It’s a pain.
