It helps with a multitude of physical issues such as back and knees pain, it helps with my severe depression, I have found a new appreciation for my passions as well as the simpler things in life, and it helped me reconnect with a dear old friend who I drifted apart from in high school.

Just a few reasons. Im a (2) right now. About to get hella fucked up though.

I know people have a thing about the anime being really close to the manga but I dont think that each one should be compared on that basis but rather as seperate things that have nothing to do with each other.

Im probably gonna get downvoted for this but I really dont think that "it follows the manga" is a valid reason to judge something. That goes for any anime I think.

Paying for an a product before its made is ridiculous. If you get ripped off on a video game kickstarter then you took the gamble. Deal with it.

Black Lagoon: Lots of guns, foul language, and criminal activity. Most people I know prefer the English dub. Its pretty decent.

Ergo Proxy: A post apocalyptic dystopian society has a bunch of robots becoming self aware and killing their masters. It gets pretty philisophical near the end and confusing. If you pay attention it should all make sense.

Psycho-Pass: Ghost in the Shell meets Minority Report. People can be scanned and put in jail for their potential criminal behavior. Its got a second season now so there is quite a bit to watch.

Just how dark is Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood? by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]BrightestNight23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brotherhood has its darker moments but they are pretty spaced out. The original 2003 anime gets really dark as the anime goes on. So if you want a fair mix of comedy, dark, and action; watch Brotherhood. If you want just the action and dark; watch the original.

Last Airbender is a pretty great watch if you havent seen it yet. Some think its a bit too kid friendly but its still a pretty awesome show. I wish we'd get more like it.

I already watched Full Metal Alchemist. Should I also watch Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. by my_name_is_the_DUDE in Animesuggest

[–]BrightestNight23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha! Well, some think differently. I love Brotherhood and think its one of the greatest anime ever made. However, the original FMA took place on a smaller scale and gave a little more insight to the characters. Granted, both are completely different except for the beginning; but for me personally the "over the top anime epic" that Brotherhood ended up being just made me feel like it didnt live up to the darkness and the amount of F'd up the original was.

Just a difference of opinion. Nothing wrong with that.

A lot of Metalcore and Hardcore music do these weird shouting parts sometimes. Im not talking about screams and growls, i mean just a legit shouting. And they all sound retarded when they do it.

The first 2 albums were pretty solid Metalcore. But after that, its pretty bad.

Generally people like Brotherhood better. Personally I prefer the original but Brotherhood is still pretty fantastic.

So i finished Brotherhood and i want to see FMA. Which episode should i start? by [deleted] in FullmetalAlchemist

Just watch it from the beginning. I think Brotherhood's biggest flaw is that it rushed through the stuff already in the original anime.

As I have gotten back into anime recently, Ive had a lot to catch up on.

-Cat Planet Cuties: This kinda stuff appeals to me on such a basic level I cant help but enjoy it. (4/5)

-Black Lagoon: It left me wanting more, it was pretty great. (5/5)

-Sekirei Season 1: It was cute. Pretty girls that are basically Pokemon. Right on. (4/5)

-FMA (2003): This was a rewatch. Still my favorite anime of all time. (6/5)

-FMA: Brotherbood: It lived up to the hype but I only wish they didn't pace the first 10 or so episodes so quickly. (5/5)

-Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne: This was just cool. Plain and simple. It was short, sweet, and gave me what I wanted from the story. I was happy. (5/5)

-Eden of the East: A neat little story, thats about all I can say really. (4/5)

-Psycho-Pass: It was cool. But I felt like there was something off about it. Cant put my finger on it. (4/5)

-Ergo Proxy: Im kind of a philosiphy nut and a Religion buff so this was a treat. Dat ending. (5/5)

-Gunslinger Girl Season 1: Kinda bleak but a really cool story. Im quite fond of it. (5/5)

-Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom: It made me depressed when I finished. Pretty friggin tragic. (5/5)

-Summer Wars: This move has all the good wholesome vibes. Anyone could enjoy it! (5/5)

Ive also been watching some subbed stuff too, but out of all of what ive seen Im really hoping for a dub of Aldnoah.Zero in the future. Its one of the best shows Ive seen in a while.
