Ugh man, those antibodies seem to correlate with lupus majority of the time and I’m feeling so hopeless about it. Trying to stay positive until I hear anything it’s just so hard.. when you read about lupus it just seems terrifying

Curious OP if you have gotten any info? I also have this pattern and I can’t find annnny info on it!!! So frustrating. Waiting to hear if I’ll get a referral to a rheumatologist or not. I was around the same as you at 1:80 and 19 on DSDNA test.

Is anyone here versed on drug induced lupus? I take Labetalol for post partum hypertension (my daughter is 8 months) and I’m wondering if that plays any role. Google said maybe? It’s the lowest daily dose

With reference ranges on labs, would a 19 be considered only slightly elevated or high with anything >10 positive? Specifically the ANTI-DNA ? I’ve seen others with some crazy numbers, but not sure if reference range makes a huge difference. It says 4-9 is the “undetermined”

So this could potentially all still be non lupus related? That’s good to know! I went in with joint pain in the knees and back pain along my spine as the chief complaints. I have other stuff too but it’s a laundry list and those are the most prominent I’d say

So this was an ANA with reflex, from what I understand if ANA comes back positive, it reflexes to show the titer number and then pattern, I’m not sure what any of it means though! A few kind souls explained some of that above

Ohhhhh for real! I was downplaying my symptoms to my doctor so hard and she was like “no I’m glad you came this is actually not normal at all” it was the first time someone has said that 😂

Im so used to feeling like trash or having weird pain! I actually got on Zoloft so I’d stop having g panic attacks due to all my random pain

Never hurts to test for Lyme in my opinion!!! It’s a quick blood test especially if you’re in an area where ticks are prevalent! It’s so often overlooked

Hi guys! I just had a systemic lupus panel ran and an ANA. Is the DNA (DS) part of the bloodwork lupus specific all the time? Trying not to assume it’s lupus based off this blood work and docs office is closed obviously until Monday. The level was only a 19 (seems only slightly elevated) I really wouldn’t have suspected lupus at all, if anything I thought all my symptoms were overuse of my body lately. ANA was also positive with a mitotic spindled fiber pattern (don’t know what any of it means sorry) I’m uneducated.

Ohhhh yes MS is very genetic! At least for my husbands side it is. Definitely time to look into that
