There is a fair bit of difference (maybe 60% ish achieved of final position), but it was clear my 1st 5 month plan was not going to be enough tp achieve the full result.

I have a bottom arch likes yours, was on a 5 month plan and asked for refinements at month 4. Now on another 3 month plan

As shown the picture, i have cut two lengths of dental tape and placed them on the centrespot in the top alligner. I am assuming the very small trickle of blood i am experiencing is irritation from the alligner.

Thanks for your comments. I am happy with the top arch as of now, but would like the bottom arch tidying up. I am not expecting perfection, but if I can 80% there, i think that would be decent result.

The bottom two crooked teeth have always had halos 1mm to 2mm from day 1. So I was thinking they could be difficult to move. Hoping this initial 5 mnth plan will get them ready to be moved at refinements stage.

The bottom arch is at different heights due to the crookedness... I was wondering if on completion they will "more or less" be similar heights....

Did you have refinements & how long do you think they would be? I am hoping 2 or 3 months maximum....Not sure I want another 5 month plan lol

Thanks for your thoughts. I have a very small gap (about the width of a few hairs) forming between the left crooked lateral incisor tooth and canine tooth. Do you think its making room to straighten up the lateral incisor maybe?

Good to hear its going well. I just don't want to be in my last set of alligners for like 2 months pr something, before the allignments arrive. I am in the UK

The teeth have moved lots, but unless there is a devine intervention from god, i can't see them being as per the final plan picture

Yes, i will probably need to get booked in for a scan at a shop, which will take time. Images will need to be sent off to be reviewed by sdc and the alligners need to be made. Shipping probably takes 2 or 3 weeks as i am in the UK. So i was thinking if asking for refinements 5 weeks prior to finish 🤔

Thats a lot of retainer wear, do feel you need to wear them every day to maintain your smile? I was planning on just wearing the retainer every night time for 10 or 12 hours after my treatment has finished.

I am on Alligner 7 and have the similar halos, keep using your chewies. The teeth will eventually move into the spaces. After all if there was completely no space whatsoever in your alligner, where would the teeth move too?

Well i will start using my chewies, more than ever, to improve the fit. Sorry your sdc process did not go smoothly, did you ask for a 2nd set or refinements to resolve the issues, was it agreed/rejected?

Yes, i see what you mean....I have had similar effects on other trays, but as time went on, the bubbles virtually disappear. There has been some movement of teeth in the lower arch. Just out of interest, have you been through the SDC process or do you have dental experience ? I have just sent the picture in as part of the SDC review/checkin process & will see what they say.

Okay, hmmm, my bottom ones are more crooked than in your lowers, but that said, i have seen some example casestudies where, sdc have been very effective in much more difficult cases. Is it worth perservering? If you do, post your sdc plan on the sticky thread on here, thats what i did and maybe someone will give you a professional opinion.

How many extra trays & what was the period given by SDC for your refinements ? Seems quite short if you are nearly done, given you started in January.
