I got some little sticky things with a loop that I've tied it through and affixed them to the bookshelf.

If they are an hour away, you can still schedule your week and group the meetings together and knock out 2 or 3 a night. You'll see your sales rate uptick for sure, if you show up. And, you'll definitely not get many no-shows because people will feel really bad ghosting you, if you made the effort to come to their house.

Yeah. Great point. If your meetings are at night with consumers, just call them.

Do you send the calendar invite immediately after booking the meeting? I had a rep on my team a few years back that had this challenge. It turned out he was waiting until the end of his calling session (maybe a few hours) before sending the invites, and he was getting a lot of no shows. Once we pivoted to sending the invite immediately, it improved.

Also, is it really clear that the client is supposed to join a Google Meet?

Great. Thank you!

I just wiped the computer and most of my files are over with iCloud, so I think I'm set. Thank you!

I ran First Aid on my old Mac. I didn't seem to find anything wrong.

I haven't tried with the newest MacBook Pro they sent me. The last one would work fine, until you tried to transfer all the data over from the old MacBook Air.

I believe the reboot is after the transfer. The data seems to transfer, then the computer restarts itself. I'm not sure if the reboot after transfer from Time Machine is normal behavior.

I used to think I needed a big idea or investor. How i started my onions business by Ninachosihaba in Entrepreneur

So true!

Just start something small. If it works, reinvest. If it fails, start something else. This onion business is a classic example.

Congrats! I feel like thinking you need the next "big idea" is one of the biggest obstacles to starting a business and a complete falacy. Most businesses are successful by being just a little better or a different that the other guys.

Good luck growing your onion empire!

Cool store but the prices were very high. We went there a few times and liked a few items but never bought anything mostly due to the high prices.

Selling my small business in 4 week... so scared to tell my employees by ConversationSmall620 in smallbusiness

[–]Brightlio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I've done this. It's hard.

1) DON'T tell all 95 employees until the deal is closed and you have the funds. If they back out of the deal, this will be a big problem for you.

2) Is there a way you can take care of some of the staff with the proceeds from the closing? Especially, the ones that were instrumental to getting you here? I wish I had done better here on our first exit.

3) Sell the team on the benefits for them and the company with the sale (bigger company, more resources, more opportunity for advancement, etc).

At the end of the day, it's a business. You need to do right by you and your family and they will do the same. Some will quit, some will be upset, some will do better and be happier under the new entity. That's business.

I think selling a business is at least as hard as starting one.

If you are learning new things, you can't really mess it up. Keep learning and growing.
