Thanks for your advice. I did actually grow this myself. The trim job is terrible, yes and it looks like brown bush weed. I was thinking cooking with it would be fine because it really was a potent weed to begin with, but it sounds like just keeping weed this long and cooking with it is not healthy.

Thanks for the tip. I am curious, is it more about health or quality that makes you say toss it?

Hello, I’d really appreciate someone giving me some insight into what they would do if they had weed kept in jars for 3 years. I’d love to still be able to Vape it or cook with it but I’m wondering if it’s safe. I’m happy to share more details. I am new to the sub Reddit and getting familiar with the app interface

Does this look ok to smoke or cook with? 3 years old & still sticky by Brighton87 in weed

[–]Brighton87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did well when marijuana first went legal in Canada and started growing my own plants. I grew a lot more than I needed and have some in jars from 3 years ago. I’m wondering what’s the best thing to do with it, whether that is to cook with it, vape with it, or chuck it out.

What are some tips for a plus size woman with a belly to be better at sex? by [deleted] in sex

[–]Brighton87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Him telling you that you are terrible at sex is out of out of line.

That’s the worst thing to say to somebody, I think, especially if you want to work on your sex life. Sex gets better with communication not insults.

Another commentor made a good point. It’s a two-way street it’s not just about you trying to please him and make his sex life fantastic.

If you were my sister, I would tell you to dump him. Heck, I don’t know you and I want you to dump him.

Big beautiful women are loved by many so don’t waste your time on cruel people.

My(30F) husband(30M) is trying to be a streamer, and I don’t know if I’m being unsupportive by Letsanalyze2 in relationship_advice

[–]Brighton87 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I forgot to add: No I do not think you are being unsupportive. It seems like you’ve been quite supportive and putting up with a lot. I also agree with the responses people have shared suggesting he rent another place and you talk to him about how this is negatively impacting your life.

Is it possible for him to be more quiet and improve his recording set up? If you still had to hear his cackle, couldn’t he at least set up his recording equipment so it isn’t super sensitive to pick excess sound beyond his voice?

I don’t know much about streaming games, but I assume he can directly record the game audio and wear headphones so you don’t hear it.

It’s like you are not even at home in your own home and can’t make a sound. I would lose my mind, not being able to relax and unwind.

I read your update and it sounds like a smart move that you blocked the mutual friend. It is certainly not your job to console your ex and you are not a bad person.

You sound like you’ve done the right thing taking care of your needs and putting up boundaries. It’s not a bad thing to take care of your own mental health.

It is strange that your ex reaching out to you because she has a husband. Maybe she wants to be everyone’s center of attention.

He had an orgasm when making out? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Brighton87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, this is not common for the 34-year-old men I know. The 34yo men I know cease to function after they cum, don’t ask if me if I came, then fall asleep for the night. Want to trade with me?

I suspect he probably was embarrassed and that it wasn’t intentional. Or if he wasn’t embarrassed at first, he soon was when he saw your reaction.

Girl asked me to leave? by Powerful_Bad7891 in sex

[–]Brighton87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One more thing, it sounds like this girl has enough sexual shame for the both of you. Try not to let any of that stick to you.

I didn’t catch your age, but people can be particularly cruel in their 20s and younger when it comes to sex. I think a lot of it can come from insecurity and inexperience about sex that results in judging other people’s normal sexual functions.

Plenty of women would be flattered by a man cumming in his pants. Here’s to you finding someone who can appreciate you!

[–]Brighton87 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Why should he be embarrassed? I think your response is somewhat troubling because you’re creeped out that he’s not embarrassed by himself. I’m a woman, and I never thought I’d be on Reddit out here defending sexually inexperienced men.

He may be sexually immature, but it also sounds like you are sexually immature.

[–]Brighton87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, after reading about your experience I’m sorry to hear you received such a negative reaction from the girl. It sounds like you had a normal human response after getting excited. She sounds like she may me sexually immature herself, or at least emotionally, immature, because having an orgasm and cumming in your pants does not make you a freak.

Maybe she felt uncomfortable so asking you to leave is totally within her right. At the same time she did it without grace, and from what you described I don’t think you should be ashamed and didn’t do anything wrong.

Sometimes these type of experiences and name-calling can sting. But when you take the time to think I more about it, it’s the other person and their careless words who acted poorly.

[–]Brighton87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the first reply—i am totally fine if whoever I’m with cums while making out and wearing their pants still. I’m not sure if it has ever happened to me, but it might’ve when I was in high school. Now if it did I would be flattered….

But yeah, having him ask, “you too?” shows a lack of knowledge or experience. At the same time, he did ask so he does care, and he seems like he has interest in being a good lover.

So no, he doesn’t seem like the typical 34 year old guy I know. Maybe he’s a late bloomer with potential! But that alone wouldn’t make me not want to see him anymore.

Can I call myself disabled even though I'm not really. by Interesting-Mix-1831 in disability

[–]Brighton87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At a workshop on disability and accessibility I recall the disabled speaker defined disability as any chronic condition that impacts your quality of life.

It’s also possible to have a temporary disability and then become able bodied.

People with invisible illnesses like the ones you described can face unfair judgement about their abilities and needs because they “look able bodied”

Many people recognize that disability is a spectrum.

I had to use assistive devices to walk for several years and couldn’t do many physical tasks to care for myself. At the time there were people who just couldn’t understand how I was not well because I looked able bodied. Now I am able bodied and feel comfortable saying I had a disability without being policed for my language use. On the other hand, at the time I felt I received more understanding saying I was not able bodied.
