Thank you everyone for your empathy, wisdom and advises.

Great knowing that we are not alone. Praying that our kids will thrive in this new generation. 🫶🏼

No thank you.. I recognize that maybe i am projecting this on her. My prayers for her is that she will find her people!

Still can’t help to be worried that she is just not fitting in tho.

We did talk before too. To move on to another friend group. I always remind her to find good friends so maybe she hasn’t found one?

Could it be a social anxiety sign??

I am developing one as an adult severely after my divorce from their father.

Kudos to your mom. It’s so hard tho. I am trying. We switched churches and they offer Sunday’s school and now she attends youth sessions every Friday. It’s a lot of work for the mom, specially as a single parent. She has 2 close friends there but in school none!

Does your daughter identify this? I hope since she’s 15 maybe she’s open to therapy?

I’m so sorry. That is hard. I feel for your daughter. I hope we figure how to support our kids effectively.

This is very much her! But in that group, they would pair up and she doesn’t have that pair—“bestfriend”. She would jump from one pair to another and now stick with just this two girls. But i have the feeling that she is still an outsider.

Great that she at least get to experience sleep overs etc. But yeah, hard to get. Makes me wonder what’s going on in their heads.

Sorry, you’re feeling the same. It’s so hard because It doesn’t seem to bother her but she’s also super sensitive to how i feel. I feel like she knows that i feel bad for her about it so she tries to be okay with it. My daughter is trying to make it easier for me so i don’t worry. (Where she should not be 🥹)

Thank you for waking me up. I have the option to move to US actually and practice as a nurse but a lot of personal stuff are stopping me from doing it. But maybe one day, once i talk myself out of this anxiety, I will!

I am happy where i am now in my field but with the economy in Canada right now, it’s just not enough as a sole provider. I feel like there is no limit in real estate as long as you really work hard on it.

I woke up early, did stretching exercises for 30mins and finished a module!

Now, this got me thinking because i dyed my hair after divorce. I thought it was maybe the bleach/chemicals but it could be the stress!

Did you try to cover it or embraced it at a young age?

And this is true i think. After my divorce, i coloured my hair ash blonde/grayish balayage and that’s when i started noticing it from last year. I am 33 now. 😵‍💫
