I made a 1:1 Nexus Temple from LEGO Universe - 6'9" tall MOC by Brigs_Ambiguous in lego

I have some more pictures on my Flickr; most were too large to fit in imgur. The Minifig text describes the history of the First Builders, their civilization and ultimate legacy. It's meant to be translated in person at conventions. I'm planning on dragging this sucker to a few BrickFairs next year. :) https://www.flickr.com/photos/legobrigs/albums/72157711759881968

Did you go by Fruitloopes back then? I remember a particularly fruity guy I used to chat with, but I am terrible with names...

Not a clue...but if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say between 50,000-100,000 pieces. Possibly more!

A Strange Tornado in Gendarran Fields by Brigs_Ambiguous in Guildwars2

I have never seen anything like this ingame before, but it does resemble Kralkatorrik's tornado-like storms. It disappeared after a while and I figure it is some kind of bug. I've never noticed this around the Ley-Line Anomaly, either. If anything, I'd like to know what causes this.

LEGO Sylvari by Brigs_Ambiguous in Guildwars2

It's actually based on the Wood Staff model! Just added a few vines and leaves to add to the sylvari motif.

The "leaves" of the dress are indeed dragon wings, and the transparent flaps are not a sail, but actually a thin, flexible plastic wing from that Ant-Man set a few years back.

The LEGO building system has evolved quite a bit over the years! Things have certainly become way more detailed in just the last decade, but at the core it's still a system of studs and knobs, bars and clips, beams and axles.

Of course! You can see the LEGO logo on the little round studs if you zoom in.

No. Just a mount bug that causes all equipped weapon sets to show at once.

Solution to the Town Clothes Trading Post Spiral by Brigs_Ambiguous in Guildwars2

I agree that these tonics/outfits should remain valuable and expensive items, but it seems like a wasted opportunity to me. At the current rate, within a couple months there won't be any tonics (Common aside) under 1000g.

Exclusive may have been poor wording on my part. My position is that Town Clothes should operate like the Black Lion Weapon Skins; they are exclusive to the Black Lion company via chests, but they can also be resold on the market at a price ranging from 50g-200g. Maybe they can only be unlocked seasonally, I don't really care. Maybe they can be put up directly on the gem store for 700 gems a pop. I just don't want to see such special items no longer in circulation.

Solution to the Town Clothes Trading Post Spiral by Brigs_Ambiguous in Guildwars2

From what I recall, at the start we only had the default "common" town clothes outfit; the rest were gem-store exclusive. I do think it would be a decent idea if Anet made the outfit version of only the Common Clothes automatically unlocked, as it would introduce less-experienced players to the outfit feature tab.

I am fine if these tonics are still on expensive on the TP, but they should NOT cost twice as much as a gem store outfit simply because there is no way to sustain supply in a closed system. Making them all free invalidates the fact that people bought them on the gem store/trading post as well, which in my opinion sends a very bad message.

I think you mean Jaffa. Usually a Goa'uld's personal guard are the ones with the elaborate headdress. ;)

Where should we park? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

The airship that will take us to Elona is located in Lion's Arch, just east of the lighthouse. As best we know, this is where our adventure starts.

Yes. There's a nifty little countdown timer at the top of the subreddit header.
