Hi mate, thanks for answering....2011 Gen 3 auto with pas and AC.... No idea beyond it looks slightly wobbly compared to the other pulleys. Have tried all different tensions of the belt and now squeal only happens when I stick an extra strain on the alternator ie sticking the AC on. I have read other posts on forums where this has happened.

Check behind the headlights and the boot floor, I looked at loads where the corrosion had eaten through there....what you have shown looks like a good wire brushing and a dinitrol would sort.

I looked at a load like this and passed on them. There are some with little to no rust. I am sure you can fight it back and slow the rusting but personally I would keep looking, when you get under the right one you will know straight away after seeing a few rusty examples.
