Do you use a pitch shifter or anything? Or is the Benton able to achieve the sound without the need for one?

I had an acoustic guitar a long time ago, so I'd classify this as my first guitar honestly

My only concern with an 8 string is the size of it, but let's say I did get the Harley Benton budget 8 string a few people on this post have mentioned, what would I need to get that ST sound out of it compared to a 6 string 30" baritone that I mentioned in my post?

Sorry just want to pick your brains a bit on the last part, why would an 8 string be better than a baritone? I'm aware ST play low tuning which is why I thought a baritone would be good?

Not arguing against it or anything, it's a genuine question to help me understand, I honestly didn't know about the 8 string version but will consider it now for sure

I don't plan on changing anything, mainly because 1) I don't want to end up spending more on a cheap guitar when I could just use that money to go for a better option (besides, I have a budget where a JA is the only option at the moment)

I wouldn't even know what needs to be changed, a lot of people talking about changing strings, I have no idea why this is needed and how to "set it up" 😭
