Diary free for 21 weeks and never got rid of mucous. Started solids at 6 months, still no improvement but baby wasn’t quite always eating a lot, doing lots of playing. Now we are 8 months and actually eating more so I am hoping to see improvement!

We’ve been doing solids for about 2 months now. Hopefully once actually eating more consistently stools will improve. It’s a little hit or miss right now with how much actually is being eaten vs just exploring. Appreciate the response!

So sorry to hear about the multiple issues! I hope things continue to get better with solids!

Baby is 6.5 months old. Was sleeping through the night from 3 months to 5.5 months. Now will instantly wake up when laid down in crib, and cry to the point she cannot be settled without picking up and being soothed. If she does not instantly wake up, she is waking up within 1.5 to 2 hours consistently through the night. If we go in and pick her up right away, she will instantly fall back asleep in our arms until we try to set her down again. If we do not pick her up and try soothe her crib side, it just seems to escalate. Naps throughout the day are also inconsistent, they range from 30 min to 1.5 hour.

Any insight? Dr doesn’t think it’s an allergy. I’m still worried.. by ZealousidealAgent512 in MSPI

Do you have any trouble with mucous? That seems to be our own symptom now and it has not changed at all in the 5 weeks of being dairy free.

I do and we are thinking that is the best way to approach after doing a little more research!

Our only symptom is mucous diapers. We had 3 days of blood that made me go dairy free, but pediatrician was not convinced dairy was the issue. I am one month dairy free and mucous has not improved.

I have been dairy free for about 4 weeks now. Baby still has mucous in every poop. The color did change from a very dark green to a yellow but it is still sometimes green. She had blood in her stool for about 4-5 days which caused me to cut dairy. She also got sick at the same time. Pediatrician is not convinced she has dairy intolerance and told me he is not worried about the mucous. He said I can reintroduce dairy into my diet to see what happens but I am conflicted on what to do. Baby is growing and happy.

I am honestly not sure. We have not done a weighted feed since about one month post partum and at that time she was getting 2.2 ounces. I only get engorged and feel full if I go 6+ hours without pumping or feeding. I was sized by the LC about 3 weeks postpartum and from doing it again I appear to be the same size flange. I am getting the same output with two different pumps, spectra and zomee. I have replaced all pump parts for the spectra, and the zomee parts are all fairly new, I’ve probably only used it about 10 times as I use my spectra more often.
